On my buddies Pixel XL we unlocked it, flashed the TWRP. Had to use that special version where we ran it from the image to then flashed it. Anyway I noticed that it survives reboots without root. We went ahead and used the beta of magisk on it. Its been working great. Its time to do the security update now though, normally you just have to flash the magisk uninstaller reboot and bam, let it do its thing and update. (for me i have to put TWRP back on the device then flash Magisk). Will this be any different for this Pixel XL with the TWRP if it stays persistent? Will this cause it to freak out?
