I don't think this is a Titan problem, i think its a Wp7 problem. My omnia 7 running mango has the exact same problem. Forgets to connect when my iPod touch and Galaxy Nexus connect straight away. I have to go into wifi settings and wait for about 20 seconds before it connects. Sometimes i have to turn wifi off then back on again to fix it. Rather annoying bug. One of the reasons i rarely use the Omnia 7 now

I have 3 different samsung focus phones that work great. Titan - not so much... For sure not WP7.

Well I can't believe it but new Titan is acting up. WiFi stalls. Same as before. I noticed that it was working fine but yesterday while outside grilling I was in and out of the house losing WiFi and when I came in it wouldn't reconnect. After that issue remained.

Ok I'm going to try some different troubleshooting. I have a tethering plan. I've reset the phone. I'm not going to turn on tethering to see if tg WiFi connection stays stable. I'm thinking that turning it on might be toggling a bad bit in software that prevents WiFi from working after you turn off tethering. Well see. Anybody else there using tethering AND having a WiFi connection issue?

Update: went outside out of range of WiFi. Cane back inside in range and WiFi signal snapped right back.

One more time. I think I might have a handle on what's happening. Just got a brand new titan running 7720. On at&t I signed up for tethering plan but did not turn it in for four days. There was no problem with WiFi switching between cellular and back. Today I used tethering for the first time. When I got home and tried to access home network. I had the SAME switching problem as before. I turned on airplane mode as a test and turned on only WiFi and its working fine. A but must get flipped when you use WiFi tethering for the first time. Any thoughts? HTC, you listening?

I have contacted HTC support via online chat and he said to return the device to retailer for a replacement.
Looks like they dont have any solution for our wi-fi problems.
