Have the spigen rugged armour. Very happy with it. Carbon fibre trims look cool on the back, the phone took a 4 foot fall onto concrete the other day and no damage what so ever. The case could be a bit gripper but overall it doesn't add much bulk and feels nice in the hand.

any case that is clear that covers the whole phone? something like an otterbox but clear for all around
Otterbox symmetry do a clear bumper case. If I was going with a clear case it would the poetic affinity series or uag they look sick.

Type it into amazon loads of clear cases just read the reviews as many of them suffer that horrible yellowing effect

I got this case and really like it. It's metal and feels very sturdy; kind of feels heavy, but I like that feel. The buttons feel clicky and fits tight and easy to put on.

Are your Mic and noise canceling mic holes centered on your case? Mine weren't, also the case was slippery...

I grabbed this one off of ebay and I'm in love with it. It's more of a pocketbook than a wallet, but it's still great with the leather, and the magnet in the phone holder is so damned handy. The fact that it splits in two in case I don't want to carry the whole thing around makes up for the thickness a bit, and being able to trap checks, single bills, or business cards between the phone case and the pocketbook is a handy trick too.

Please excuse the crummy picture... used the phone on my old Galaxy Tab 10.1 and then corrected it in paintshop pro and deleted the personal info ;)

Hello. I do not care about looks other then maybe it being in black and I don't care about thickness either, so if the phone is double or triple the thickness then that is fine with me. I am just look for a really good drop and shock protection for this phone something that is $50 bucks or less. I have though about "Otter Box" and "Supcase Unicorn Beetle" as the two main ones, but in general I am seeking to protect the phone as I tend to drop my phone or accidentally knock it off my table. The Otter Box Commuter for my old HTC One X worked pretty well for me and was able to place it upside down to use the rubber edge to keep it from sliding on the table. Also would be great if case is long lasting, but protection over any thing else is more important to me with in the price range. Thanks for any help given. :)

Check out the Incipio level 4 and level 5 protectors. Level 5 is 50 bucks but Incipio has social media promocode and Level 4 is cheaper on Amazon depending on color you get.

Otter Box makes great stuff. In my family, we've got a total of 4+ years using Otter Box Defender series on two Galaxy S4 phones after having tried other brands first that were far inferior (for that specific model phone anyway) [e.g., Lifeproof, Seido, Body Glove]. I'm not aware of a better case for the S4.
