Root access-->dpi changer app--> set resolution to 720x1560 and dpi to 293.
It will consume less battery (only while gaming cause of less stress to GPU) and provides smoother gameplay-higher fps if the game was lagging before.

What's gcam? Is that google camera?

Go to Recovery> Creat Backup boot & dtbo img>flash desired kernel zip & wipe cache >reboot system
