Hi all!

I've just had this idea for anyone with the knowledge/means to complete it...

I've been thinking today that the only thing that really bugs me about our beloved (?) Truesmart watches is the fact that the battery runs out like way too fast...

Suddenly I remembered that years ago I saw watches from some big brand (Rolex maybe? Correct me if I'm wrong....) that all they needed to keep the time ticking was a few circling moves....

I also remember (again, correct me if I'm wrong) that they weren't all that bulky....

Could anyone come up with a way to combine that tech with the battery within our TS?

Cheers!

Look for Seiko Kinetic and find a way to implement that in the TrueSmart.

Check on google....there is no way kinetic charging can provide anywhere close to what your TS needs....

I've got an old Citizen Eco Drive watch that's powered by sunlight. An hour per month will keep it going until the Li-ion packs it in after 12 years (hence I got one for free). A simple smartwatch like the Casio G-Shock with BLE could feasibly last 12 years with such a system. Show me an Omega that lasts a month without movement!
