Motorola/VZW were very specific about wiping your tablet, or at the very least encrypting your tablet, before sending it in for the 4g upgrade. Why do you think they did that?
One reason was so that the temporary workers they hired to do the upgrade couldn't make an image of a customer's Xoom with the customer's data on it, and then sell or use that data, like web site logins and credit card numbers saved by the browser.
Who knows what a temp worker is gonna do with your data? I know for a fact that no temp worker got their grubby paws on my Xoom data, because I flashed Motorola's developer images, multiple times, before sending in my Xoom.
So who is stupid again?
Also I took a photo of the shipping label Motorola sent out, so I could keep track of my Xoom, because I didn't trust Motorola to keep track of the labels they sent out to thousands upon thousands of Xoom owners.
So who is stupid again?
