Motorola/VZW were very specific about wiping your tablet, or at the very least encrypting your tablet, before sending it in for the 4g upgrade. Why do you think they did that?

One reason was so that the temporary workers they hired to do the upgrade couldn't make an image of a customer's Xoom with the customer's data on it, and then sell or use that data, like web site logins and credit card numbers saved by the browser.

Who knows what a temp worker is gonna do with your data? I know for a fact that no temp worker got their grubby paws on my Xoom data, because I flashed Motorola's developer images, multiple times, before sending in my Xoom.

So who is stupid again?

Also I took a photo of the shipping label Motorola sent out, so I could keep track of my Xoom, because I didn't trust Motorola to keep track of the labels they sent out to thousands upon thousands of Xoom owners.

So who is stupid again?

i honestly believe you did all that work for nothing. we're both happy now, and i wish this guy would try to make some purchases after he jacked an image recovery of my xoom. i would actually be impressed but im certain that isn't happening.

More like you have blind faith that no one is using your Xoom data, after sending it to the wrong place. How many people had access to your Xoom while it was at the "vzw kiosk" your Xoom was mistakenly sent to? How many soon-to-be-unemployed temp workers had access to your Xoom?

If you are certain, then you are just demonstrating who is really stupid here.

douchebag

Another boy who cried brick...That isn't a fucking brick...and sure sounds like you are running custom recovery ands probably other warranty voiding stuff...good luck with that ****
Here is another perfect example of where you would like to be able to reach through the internet and beat the he'll out of all the complete jackasses who spill their drivel on the web. I have been in the IT industry fo 18 years and am no boy. Your the one who is probably the pimple faced 16 year old who doesn't know his head from his ass, oh wait their actually the same thing in your case.

And just for your information I sent my Xoom back completely wiped with a clean install of the original HRI39 OS on it.

My email actually got hacked the day before I got it back. 550 spam emails were sent in 30 minutes. Had to reset my email password and enable 2 step verification code
