If all I use the phone for is:

1. Making Calls
2. Sending Email
3. Sending Text
4. Surfing the Web
5. Taking Pictures

Is 1GB enough for this? I do not play any games at all on the phone. I also have a 32GB SD card that I can pop in.

Thanks

I bought the 1gb model because its the only one in spain. I was worried it wont be enought, but i have to say its working great. I do same use as you and i didnt face any problem yet. Whatsapp, web browsing, camera, music, etc. all working great didnt try any games as i dont play. Hope this helps you.

Configuration is key, on their site if I pick black front 16GB, green back, blue accent it says "estimated DELIVERY august 11" which isn't bad at all. Of course I got a 1GB model from best buy to try out first though and it is not quite living up to expecations. It runs well and is great at home, but drops signal a lot and then doesn't pick it back up, drops LTE even when signal isn't weak. I'm not sure what's going on, but I've never seen a phone do this poorly before at holding cell signal. Going to test over the next week and pray it was just T-mobile having issues today in the area, or that the phone is just defective.

Of course 1GB is enough for that, otherwise how does everyone using an older moto g cope!! I'm still gonna get 2GB though ;)
