Yep..same for me..speed compared to my home DSL is 3fold with my LTE..and I'm paying for 20mbps with DSL..but on a good day with DSL may be 10mbps..I wonder if I can just pay for the 10mbps, what would Windstream DSL say..seems as thow I'm paying at least double for something I have signed a contract for that is suppose to be 20mbps..what's wrong with this.?Don't know where else to put this. I must uphold my part of the contract..but its OK for Windstream DSL to give me only half of the contract agreement..lol
Anyhow..enuff about that..getting to far off thread subject..

Unbricking my Moto G 4G LTE XT 1045
Ok, I am a newb at ROMing Android devices.
A few days back I wanted to put a custom ROM on my phone; a Moto G 4G LTE
I mistakenly thought it was a typical XT1032 (plain Moto G)
So, I flashed the ROM and then everything went to hell. :crying:
I could not boot, I couldn't recover, I couldn't do anything. I tried different ROMs and they didn't help. I tried to flash for days back to stock by downloading just about every stock ROM available and nothing worked. Finally, I found someone on this forum who posted the 4G LTE stock ROM, after about 30 hours of messing with the darn thing.
(Moto G 4G LTE Stock ROM) So, I downloaded the following ROM posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53660639&postcount=1
I then ran:
mfastboot oem fb_mode_set
mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin
mfastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
mfastboot flash logo logo.bin

mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk0
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk1
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk2

It is back! It made about 10 "beeps" upon first boot, but it works fine so far!
Whew! Man, what an ordeal. Well, I learned a lot and now I know to be very very damn sure that the model I have is what I think it is.

I have a xt1039 and need root I unlocked the bootloader what recovery works? Also any news on roms for the 4g variant yet?

I'd rather have my 4 Mbps DSL than the shared-node, ISP-monitored, connection and loss of privacy I'd get with FIOS or Cable.
I'm experiencing wifi problems on my Moto G 4G LTE unlocked from tesco mobile. The wifi shows its connected, however apps that require internet connection somtimes loads the content, and other times dont. After turning wifi off and on, it works for a short while and then stops loading content. Tried rebooting, same issue. Anyone else experiencing these problems?
Same problem on my stock xt1039 thought it was my router cause i been having problems with it, I also can't get 4g like other people been saying. I noticed this before unlocking my bootloader but now i'm screwed and can't return it >.>

Hey dude, I just called Motorola customer services. They went through a couple of troubleshooting methods. Then the guy told me to forget the network and then re-enter the wifi key. Give that a go and see if it works. Let me know yeah

Very annoying as I pretty much only use wifi on my device and it keeps getting failed downloads etc due to this.

Tanosama, i'm having the same problems. Did exactly the same thing -- flashed a XT1034 onto XT1045. Were you running mfastboot from Windows?
I don't have Windows so I used osx-fastboot from the same mfastboot-v2.zip, but that didn't work for me either.

So I fixed being able to write to the SD card. I have saved some Zooper templates on the SD Card from my old phone, but on this phone they don't show up. It seems my stuff in the SD Card is on/storage/sdcard1/ but the phone wants to look at /storage/emulated/0/ anyway to make it default to /storage/sdcard1/
2nd-init Recovery
Had a Defy in the past with a locked bootloader. 2nd-init Recovery allowed one to have CWM and custom ROMS without unlocking the bootloader. Could something like this work with the Moto G 4G LTE?

Gentlemen..save yourselves alot of headaches..NEVER flash anything, unless you have a known good stock FXZ..if not available..wait
