i need 3 people to PM me.

knowing how to use adb to get logcats would be nice, you need to know how to make a nandroid and need to be unlocked with a custom recovery

if someone could send me a copy of teh stock kernel that would be awesome :)

Count me in! I have replied your thread at androidforums.com

Just curious. I was on galaxy phones since the captivate. Very happy with my $50 moto G. Would definitely consider another moto phone.

Did you get the Verizon Moto G at BestBuy when it was $50? I did and I'm so happy that I did. I am loving Motorola :D

sooooo Shabby....what exactly are we looking at?

Mine will be here tomorrow and I can help test as well if need be. I'm decent in ADB and all that jazz.

One thing though, does anyone have the stock firmware or image to flash with ADB if you should get in a non recoverable state?

There is a stock firmware for the XT1045 here at XDA somewhere... But you will always be able to recover, as long as you have a full nandroid backup and you don't flash the bootloader... You can use fastboot to boot TWRP recovery and restore your full backup even if you can't enter the recovery directly from phone...

i realize you have to boot into recovery from a pc. But i didn't think you could yet create a nandroid? Or was it that you could only create the nandroid on the local phone storage? At which point I assume you would move it from there to your PC for safe keeping? I looked for the stock 1045 firmware and couldn't find it.

No disrespect to the XDA members but the XDA site isn't the most organized site for finding something. Yes I know about the search feature.

well I saw the CM logo. I guess I should have rephrased my question. Is this a CM11 in the process of being made for the Moto g LTE? The answer to that is obvious by now. Great work. Can't wait to give it a try. Thanks again for your efforts.

Used to have Cyanogen installed on my old Defy+, I remember of a nice feature that allowed me to skip to previous/next track of audio players using volume down/up when the screen is off. If I'm not wrong, this option was inside Settings -> Buttons. However, I didn't find this option in Moto G with Android 4.4.3. Is there any workaround?

Root and Install Xposed Framework and Gravitybox. There's an option for this under media tweaks that works perfectly.

it will 110% definitely not have the stock moto sdcard issues, as in its current state the sdcard doesnt work :p
