One more thing. I got root permission with SuperSU through recovery boot with TWRP, but I've noticed that now I can't enter recovery through bootloader anymore. So today I tried to *flash* this version of TWRP and although the console told me that everything is OK, I still can't enter recovery through bootloader (black screen forever). Then I tried to *flash* with this CWM, but the same thing occurred. P.S.: I flashed with fastboot, not mfastboot.
EDITED: nevermind, I've figured out that I have to enter recovery with Vol Up, not Power button.

hes a busy guy, doesnt talk nearly as much as we used to. i believe he is away on a business trip currently.
my device trees are abysmal and thats why they havent been updated. i need to go back and redo most of the work making proper commit history and far better hacks than the crap i did otherwise people will yell at me for everything.
He was awesome for the carbon ? team. It wouldn't have been as good of a rom without him. He actually put me in contact with the oudhs irc to get to you. I joined it, but then I thought it would be better to wait till I actually got the device.

Can anyone tell me whether the MicroSD card is supposed to lock or 'click' into place much like the SIM card does?
Mine seems to be 'loose', I can only pull it out manually, not by pushing it again.
Is this normal, or is my spring broken?
Also this seems to lead to 'SD Card removed unexpectedly' errors pretty often.

There is NO click, the card just slides in and out..
The new OS update is rumored to fix the SDCard issue, many have mentioned this issue, and some have returned the device for another, and some have received a replacement with the same issue..hang on til we get the update..
Some SDCards function properly, depends on the card manf. and class..

The 4.4.4 Update is currently rolling out in stages India/Brasil have it already shouldn't be too long for other carriers/countries to pick it up. That sound interesting, if Motorola manages to make a clickable slot with an OS update, I'll never buy a phone from another manufacturer again.

Yep..ordering a second XT1045 in a couple days..then go from that..myself, preparing for the "speculation" of the Moto X+1 or what ever is next..(IF) the device is unlockable..if not..I'll wait..and as so the device isnt Verizon branded..or any carrier for that matter..

That review is kind of hard to read. I currently have in our household a G, 4G LTE and an E. Each serves a distinct purpose at a distinct pricepoint. The 4G LTE 8GB (unlocked) at USD 229 is fast approaching the price I pay for my last-year's flagship phones.
I will definitely be watching the specs on the G2 when it's announced.
If G2 offeres more RAM and SD card slot I will buy
but still waiting for G 4G release in India.
I think till the release of G 4G all specifications of G2 will be known to us.
but I think buying G 4G will be good for me cause I don't want waiting waiting and just waiting
I have the exact same problem here. The card is loose as hell, thinking of maybe putting some super glue on there...
