Check or measure if you can, if the phone is hotter at the bottom bezel.

Can't notice it now but i think i did notice the bottom bezel was hotter when i removed the back cover, also i downloaded a cpu temp measurer and it is constantly above 40'C and can reach 50'C when on any kind of app.

The bottom part of the display on the moto G gets very hot if its damaged (even slightly).Believe it or not, I`ve burned my finger on one of these (naked display), it was over 90*C on that part.
Now Im not saying you got the same problem, but it's a good idea to look for it, because the soc wouldn't output so much heat w/o it being damaged to the point of being broken.

Well i mean, before with more applications i was on a temperature range of 28'C - 35'C and now its 35'C to 42'C with less applications, how can you know its the SOC

It's very hard to tell, you need thermo couple or laser thermo, open the phone, turn it on and measure the shielding over the SOC.Thats not an accurate method rly, but I doubt you've got the required bench to test it for real.

By the way give some more details about kernel, core-load and so on.Are you on stock rom?

Try to reflash stock rom and see if something changes. If not, problem is hardware, maybe battery?
tried factory reset through recovery and then decided to completely flash stock 4.4.2 and upgrade back to 4.4.4, nothing different. Do you think a kernal will help? hot phones are just a real turn off as it isnt nice to hold.

Dude, your phone is fine.
The phone does work a lot after a update.
Your phone is just working a lot because new files and such.

Just give it a week.. Then if your still concerned taken it back to the shop claiming hardware issues..

;) they could possibly give you the LTE version haha
