Hi,

I have a Moto G XT1032 and was just browsing the internet the other day when the WIFI randomly turned off. I went into settings to turn it back on but when I toggle it to on it automatically toggles back to off.

It also says that MAC address is not available and IP address is not available in the advanced settings.

WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_nv.bin is still in the persist folder.

I´ve tried installing CM12.1 ROM but WIFI still doesn´t work.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Dan

I also faced the same issue 2 weeks before. I fixed it by doing Restoring the stock firmware (Not factory reset). (Take complete backup before doing this procedure.) See this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700502

Persist Folder Permissions

Thanks for the advice, I tried it but unfortunately no success.

However, I then checked the permissions on the persist folder and the read and write boxes under "other" were unticked. I ticked them and voila; I can turn the wifi on!
