What ROM? Aren't you guys flashing the stock firmware? The OEM.img is in that...unless you are manually flashing everything or edited out the line for it. This is all guessing until someone does it.Possibly, but that's not that much easier than just flashing the rom.
Several of us here have flashed the stock rom and wiped the Amazon bloat. What ROM? Aren't you guys flashing the stock firmware? The OEM.img is in that...unless you are manually flashing everything or edited out the line for it. This is all guessing until someone does it.
I have too. Just thinking of ways to get all the Amazon stuff removed. I will try in a few with rootjunkys OEM.img he made to remove all the OEM stuff mixed with the factory images and see if takes care of it all.Several of us here have flashed the stock rom and wiped the Amazon bloat.
I am sure a lot of us will be eager to hear your results.I have too. Just thinking of ways to get all the Amazon stuff removed. I will try in a few with rootjunkys OEM.img he made to remove all the OEM stuff mixed with the factory images and see if takes care of it all.

I disabled IPV6 on my router long ago because it was causing connection problems on a lot of AT&T DSL routers. Their tech support was advising people to do that. I figure I'll worry about IPV6 when it gets widely used. As for the LED, according to what I see on the Lenovo forums the same little white LED is still there that was on the G3 and some report seeing it while charging. There was that app that enabled it for charging but I dont know if it works on the G4.Well darn. Thank you for trying.
I myself am having an issue with notifications. Neither Skype nor Gmail will notify me until I push the power button. My other phone on the other hand receives alerts instantly so I know it isn't my internet connection. I have already disabled the power saver function for both applications and set high priority when it comes to alert sounds. None of these has resolved my issue and I am wondering if any of you are experiencing the same.

I think I may have found a solution. I had to disable IPV6 on my home router and it seems to be working fine now. Problem is, I cant find any documentation (at this late hour) that suggests that the G4 has a notification LED. I know some sites suggest it has a "hidden" one on the bottom. Searching for the function in the notifications setting has proven fruitless as it lacks that option (perhaps because it lacks that LED altogether?).
There is the Moto LED Enabler app in Play for the Moto X and E that worked on the G3. I think it only enabled the light on the G3 while charging. I tried it on my G3 and it worked for charging only.Yeah, the LED is there, but doesn't seem to be enabled in the OS. When I boot into fastboot and connect it to my PC, the LED continuously blinks, stops when I disconnect.
Yes, at least several have that I know of including me. I suspect that you got a bad download. When you unzipped the rom did it unzip without errors? Also verify that every file in the rom matches up with the flash directions if you're going by that YouTube video. All I did was copy and paste the entire flash sequence into the cmd window I had open.. It took just a few minutes and it was good to go. Be aware that the first boot after you flash takes a fairly long time.Anybody been able to flash from fastboot the stock boot.img or recovery.img? I keep getting not signed or corrupt errors on both.

Yes. It unzips without errors. I've downloaded it multiple times from different sources. The ROM is for use with rsdlite. I'm manually flashing the files with fastboot. I'm not using a YouTube video. Idk if it's a Windows 10 problem. Others have had the same problem in the plus forums.Yes, at least several have that I know of including me. I suspect that you got a bad download. Ahh ok, I always manually flash and never really mess with rsd. I did flash on Windows 10 64bit with no problems. I do know that I've occasionally had problems if I didn't open a cmd window with administrator priviledges but that's the only problem I've ever had with Windows.Yes. It unzips without errors. I get the same for the stock boot.img, stock recovery.img, as well as the TWRP recovery.img. There's a video on Youtube of someone in the UK (I think) flashing stock onto their device via fastboot, and I saw the same issue on theirs, so it's not just limited to the US stock ROM or the Amazon version of the device. Regardless, everything still seems to work fine for me.Anybody been able to flash from fastboot the stock boot.img or recovery.img? I keep getting not signed or corrupt errors on both.
