Hi @Silesh.Nair amazing work.. I have downloaded this couple of days back and used for a day but reverted back for video recording.

Now I will be installing it again today.. However, I am unable to register more than 1 Fingerprint. Tried clean install n everything I could think of..but to no avail.. your help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Unable to attach the baseband screenshot due to some network error on app.

Let me know what can be done

What error it shows for another fingerprint... : Enrollment not completed....?
Dont worry,,
all 5 Fingerprints can be used however shows 1 FP added....
Just do a clean install then add 1 FP,
After that try adding 4 other FP which you like to use...
Probably all other 4 will show enrollment error..

Now, try unlocking with with second or third FP you added and which faced enrollment error... It will be succeed to unlock device...

No one knows why it shows only 1 FP added, even though all FPs are got registered....

I hope you got MY ENGLISH... :p

I absolutely got your English...don't worry we all came from somewhere or the other :D

It shows as Fingerprint enrollment couldn't be completed due to an internal error. What is shocking is that I see another 3 or 2 prints at times added already but when I try to delete them; my original print gets deleted and these ghost prints (as I like to call them) come back again.

What's your take on this?

That's why and you didn't read the OP. You are running M modem on an N base. It will not work. You have to update your modem to N. Read the red text in the OP which tells you how to do it.

This is applicable only for custom ROMs.

Oh! Sorry I am not trying to be rude here but I am unable to sort this out. Now, if I am in MM modem, I need to flash the N. How to do that? I have the files for MM and the Blur Version file for N. Can you please help me with the appropriate ROM links.

When I try to flash the MM version so that I can again do a fresh install of N; I get the 'Security Version Downgrade' error in fastboot.

Just a little lost here. Appreciate you taking out time for me..

I also had 3 ghost FPs on previous installation... And till now my observations is : don't add all FPs back to back...
If you got Ghost FP, you need to remove them ( by formatting / fresh start )
After that add 1st FP only... Then go to settings and add 2nd, then close setting, do close setting on adding of each FP.... I have 4 FP working and no ghost FP....

I have tried flashing the N modem using the zip file in the cm 14.1 op. I then remembered that when I was on MM, I didn't update to the 63/64 update because I was already on a modified system partition. Can you also include a zip file to upgrade my modem to 63/64 and then I'll use your zip file to upgrade it to N? Thank you!
I have found the modem file. Thank you!

139-63 modem is in the form of a bin file that you need to flash from bootloader using fastboot. Files are accessible from the link in my signature.

Bear in mind this is the soak test modem (.52R), also, you may have better luck and more stability if you were to flash the fastboot Nougat ROM, which contains the newer .62R modem file https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/moto-g4-plus-xt1640-43-athene-npj25-93-t3549369

I run on Baseband-Version M8952_70004.04.03.32R. Just one Fingerprint working.
I do not have much experience yet, just managed to flash OmniROM 9.0 - and pretty satisfied with that.
What do you recommend to one like me about the modem/fingerprint problem?
