Moto G5 Plus randomly shut down and bootloops after last update, possibly bricked???

I think the latest update is the cause of this. My phone randomly shut down and couldn't turn back on, just stuck on the Moto logo and reboots forever.

I tried unlocking bootloader but I can't since "Allow OEM Unlock" is not enabled.

I tried deleting cache and userdata through fastboot and I got the error "Formatting is not supported for filesystem with type 'raw'." Bricked?

Is there anything I can do...? I LOVE THIS PHONE.

After flashing a POTTER_NPN25.137-92_cid50 stock rom now it says

Your device didn't start up successfully. Use the Software Repair Assistant on computer to repair your device. Connect your device to your computer to get the Software Repair Assistant.

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (Secure)
ERROR: Failed to pass validaton, backup to fastboot
Boot up failed

What should I do? Did I not flash the right ROM for xt1687??? What should I do??
