Anyone able to get SMS to work?
Yes, everybody.

Why wouldn't it work? ROM has been out since February 2016. Pretty sure that's not an issue -- either here or in the other Quark forum where a lot of Droid Turbo users hang out. So, better question would be "why doesn't my SMS work?"

Just saying the wording of your question seems to assume it works for nobody.

Although back in February (when ROM was still in beta "Preview" status and not Stable Release status) someone had an 2-3 minute delay issue with SMS, but it seemed to be isolated. No one else reported it since.

Now what has been an issue for Droid Turbo users (and only Droid Turbo users) is allegedly lower resolution MMS pictures?

i am using moto turbo
when ever i turn on the mobile data nothing happen
APN are installed
please help
wifi is working good
sorry for my english
You are sure you have a Moto Turbo XT1225 and not a Droid Turbo XT1254? They are two different Quarks, both called "Turbo" and made by Moto. ;)

I'm just asking because used Droid Turbo XT1254 are now showing up all over the world. I assume you are in another country -- not the United States -- no matter which phone you have?

On the back of the phone, on the bottom what is the FCC ID? Does it end in a "2" (Moto Turbo) or "1" (Droid Turbo)?

If you actually do have a Moto Turbo XT1225, try re-flashing the modem with these commands in ADB:

mfastboot flash radio radio.img
fastboot oem config fsg-id emea

(That second command is for the Moto Turbo XT1225 radio specifically. Not Droid Turbo, not Moto Maxx.)

Download the the Moto Turbo XT1225 modem here:

__________

If instead you have a Droid Turbo XT1254 (using it with a GSM-based carrier, NOT Verizon), then these commands:

mfastboot flash radio radio.img
fastboot oem config fsg-id verizon_gsm

(That second command is for Droid Turbo XT1254 radio specifically, for non-Verizon GSM-based carriers.)

Download the the Droid Turbo XT1254 modem here:

So far everything seems good. The only issues I had were the default dpi caused double images with vr apps and in vr apps made with unity bluetooth audio gets slow and garbled. I'm sure none of that is priority but might as well point it out. Neither of those things happen on stock. Other than that I'm loving it!

Was running stock. Been having issues. Charging saying its charging then wake up to dead phone, incoming call issues, slow, and all kinds of other issues. Been wanting to do this rom but lack of VOLTE kept me away. Slapped this guy on last night and loving it. Runs soo smooth and zero issues as of now. Hoping we can get VOLTE in future.

Turned out to be the Verizon Messaging app that was having issues. When on WIFI the app works fine just on mobile it breaks. Googles Messaging app works fine so I flipped over to it.

I'm having issues with a lot of apps not being able to read USB storage. These are apps that I use on my shield tablet with marshmallow and USB storage. Updated emulators and the latest vlc that works on my shield tablet. Androids built in browser sees it and es file explorer does too but that's all.

Does anyone have an issue where someone calls you and the phone doesn't ring. Basically I get a notification when I turn the phone on and then I call the person back and they tell me I'm a liar and I was ignoring there call so it's kinda causing argument's. Lol.

This was happening to me a lot before I changed my sim. Supposedly the new modem package fixes this.

See this:

Just make sure you're running TWRP version 3.0.2-0 mod 2:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=39562

If encryption fails, you'll need to format your data partition (aka do a factory reset) using this version of TWRP. Then it will work.
The only difference is that you'll have to enter your password/pin every time you boot twrp. Don't try to use a pattern lock. Everything else will be the same.
