I have a Verizon Motorola droid turbo. I flashed the modem file that said verizon in it. I had no clue which one to flash so I guessed on that one. Was that correct. This weekend people were trying to call me to hang out but I wasn't getting the phone calls so I sat home all weekend like a damn loser. I wanna have a better weekend this week. Lol. Thanks.

I want to use this ROM, but will wait until HD Voice/Advanced Calling works, because I work out in the field, and I often need to reference documents on the cloud while taking with clients.

Does anyone know how high hopes should be for advanced calling/ data+ voice?

Users over in the Quark Resurrection Remix thread are still discussing it. They haven't given up. RR is based on CM. This discussion was yesterday and today, ongoing.

And, I've been exploring VoLTE for Verizon for the last couple weeks. On RR, I'm able to enable the "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" toggle, and the VoLTE flag in the hidden dialer code menu is on. On my soak 4 "build," I was able to figure out how to get the "Advanced Calling" menu to show up in settings (doesn't show on RR), but trying to go into it just crashes that settings extension, and the VoLTE flag is off. Neither have actual working VoLTE, but for RR it seems closer to success since I got the VoLTE flag to be on and the "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" toggle appears, which is the native VoLTE settings switch in AOSP. I'm currently working with a system dump of CF 1.3.7 (since it's based on SU4TL-49 5.1 Lollipop), stock 6.0.1 MOB30O from the Nexus 6, and a system dump of RR 5.7.0 for the Nexus 6. You don't necessarily need a "proper" computer setup for this; I've been doing all my testing and system dumps, etc. on my phone along with Solid Explorer and TWRP, so I can pull all the system directories and make flashable zips right from my phone. I plan on doing more experimenting either this weekend or the start of next week, as I haven't touched the Nexus 6 stuff yet.
The RR implementation seems the most likely as I can't change/add anything enough in the soak to enable volte for Verizon. Let me know how the nexus 6 work goes. I find working directly on my phone tedious is really what I meant. You're a saint for doing what you're doing.
I'm hoping it doesn't need any proprietary stuff. But I also don't know much about the related IMS files.
That's what cf keeps mentioning to me but I don't know enough to do anything about it. I'm guessing stock will be out before we can fix though.
ive been adding the Moto files from LP with no luck. Even when i get Voice, Display, and Actions to show up.in the signature app, they still dont work right. there are bits and pieces in /system/framework (like jar files) that seem to be needed. when i install the playstore versions, nothing changes. i went as far as downloading the xt1575 Fxz just to have the actual MM files, but i have little to no clue how to implement it. I am so glad there are actual devs here. my boredom tinkering isnt working. ;)
Ooh, that reminds me, I should try to get a system dump from the Turbo 2 on Marshmallow so I can see how the files are structured on Marshmallow.

downgrading

right now i have computerfreek 1.3.7 installed. if i flash cm13 would there be any issue going back to computerfreek since cm13 is 6.0 and freek is 5.1? Just in case i dont like MM for some reason. Would it be just data wipe and restore nandroid? no issues?

There should not be any issues.

You can also try Marshmallow Resurrection Remix, which is based on CM13. And there's also an "unofficial" CM13, made by a Verizon user, which is hybrid between the two. It's CM13 with a few of the best Resurrection Remix features thrown in.

I wish there was a way to flash the radio on my phone because every time I update I have to reflash the radio or my phone is useless. =(

Then why don't you flash the radio?

Even though you don't say so, you seem to be implying you want a TWRP zip flashable radio instead of fastboot flashable. Otherwise you wouldn't say you "wish there was a way to flash to radio". :rolleyes:The radios listed in post #1 are fastboot flashable, so you seem to want something else.

Would be better if you actually said it instead of making us guess.

So, use the TWRP flashable radios available in this forum.

Hey guys. How has battery life been on the latest nightlies? Right now I'm on a ported ROMof the Brazilian 6.0.1 OTA. Battery life is amazing compared to Stock 5.1. Is it a similar story here?
