Audio is fixed in 1/4 build. Time will tell if im still getting battery drain.
You don't have to be locked to use Android Pay, you just need to not be rooted. If you go into SuperSU and select "disable" you should be able to open and setup Android Pay. Afterwards you can again enable root and Android Pay should still work. At least it worked for me on the stock rom.Is there any way to use android pay ? The research I've done led me to believe I'd need to relock the bootloader to use android pay. Would this work?
Have you tried reflashing the recovery image? It's certainly within the realm of possibility that the recovery partition is corrupted.Ok hey guys last night my phone died and I passed out. I woke up and it was dead. I plugged it in and it booted normally. I played with it for a few minutes and then everything went haywire, everything was force-closing etc. I turned it off to boot into recovery mode to wipe cache but it will boot into fastboot_secure and then when I try to select boot recovery, screen flashes and just comes back to fastboot. The phone won't boot and won't boot into recovery. Any ideas? Thanks
EDIT: When I scroll to Bootloader Logs, it says "failed to validate boot image" and Fastboot Reason is "Fall-through from normal boot mode"
What aspect of the audio is fixed? Are you speaking of the bluetooth handsfree issue or the actual headset or speaker audio?Audio is fixed in 1/4 build. Time will tell if im still getting battery drain.
Speaker audio. It doesn't crackle or cut out anymore. What aspect of the audio is fixed? Are you speaking of the bluetooth handsfree issue or the actual headset or speaker audio?
Oh ok thanks. Waiting for BT Handsfree to get to working then, I will definitely switch backSpeaker audio. It doesn't crackle or cut out anymore.
so do I just have to live with no andoird pay?dont relock. sunshine can get it unlocked exactly once. it doesnt become relockable. if you relock, you will likely never get it unlocked again, just fyi. ask @jcase he will tell you the same.
Look at my reply above.so do I just have to live with no andoird pay?![]()
no. just dont relock a sunshined device. an alternative usually emerges, as @pastorbennett pointed out.so do I just have to live with no andoird pay?![]()
re-flash radio from TWRPDoes anybody have any advice on getting my GPS to work? I'm on the latest 1/4 build and I'm still having GPS issues. Doesn't matter the app, so far I tried both Maps and Waze with the same results. It seems to find my location which isn't at all accurate but it doesn't track when I'm moving. If it does its always a few miles off from where I actually am located.
I couldn't get my GPS to lock at all at first. I had to restore to the stock firmware, enable GPS by using "device only" under settings, test that it worked under Google maps, then flash back cyanogenmod 12.1. I used my backed up stock and cyanogenmod firmware during that process. I'm on the 12-22-15 nightly and it's working correctly now.Does anybody have any advice on getting my GPS to work? For GPS problems, you could also try thisI couldn't get my GPS to lock at all at first. Is there anyone working on this? Or is it just a possibility that might happen?no. just dont relock a sunshined device. an alternative usually emerges, as @pastorbennett pointed out.![]()
I had to flash open gapps for mine to work. You will have to reinstall your rom to install the apps. I tried everything else first. I tried clearing data on the app, reinstalling, etc. http://opengapps.orgKeep getting force closes with google play so annoying anybody know how to fix?
It says in the OP that you can crossflash device radios. If I flash a XT1225 radio, will I get all of AT&T's LTE bands? I have a XT1254, currently on Straight Talk with Verizon service. This is CM12.1 (Lollipop, Android 5.1.1) firmware for Moto MAXX XT1225 and Droid Turbo XT1254. It's an official build.

Crossflashing & Configuration OverrideCode:adb reboot bootloader mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin mfastboot flash motoboot bootloader.img mfastboot flash radio radio.img
You can crossflash radio image for a different variant of the phone, but the automated setup will not pick it up. Thus you'll need to manually override it through fastboot:

I don't think the radio would work on the xt1254. The turbo has CDMA antennas and the antennas for its specific LTE bands. The xt1225 doesn't have CDMA support and the same antennas so I highly doubt the radios for xt1225 work on xt1254It says in the OP that you can crossflash device radios. EDIT: It's also on stock 5.1.
