Stock radio and the preferred network type is set to lte/gsm/umts. Not sure if that means gsm only.
It's not, you have to change it to GSM only through fastboot.
You're probably in an area where At&t uses LTE bands that the turbo supports by default. In my area, on AT&T, this phone only gets HSPA+. (My roommate and girlfriend both have At&t and get full bars of LTE).

Gotcha. Sorry for the misinformation. I'm curious for the results you get from testing gsm only. Thanks.

This may be a dumb question but I've been out of the game for a while. Do I need to download and install the quark.zip and the quark-recovery.img?

edit - I figured it out

So on my way home I noticed my phone stopped connecting to phone or data. Which is weird I was using it normally and texting someone and then boom nothing. WiFi and BT are fine. I double checked settings, updated to the lastest nightly. Is there a new bug?

couple of questions,
does android pay work on this rom?
are people using this on the turbo as a dd? Happy?

Thanks for all the work you guys do! :)
I am using this as a dd and it is working great! The only issues I have is there are now APN settings so I can't try to change those to get my MMS to work. You probably won't have any problems with your mms. I am just having this issue as I just switched over to straight talk, still using verizon network but mms has not worked since. I get data just fine and regular texts work.

Check out my reply to your post in the Missing Radio thread, I posted my Apn settings in there for you. :)

They are in Settings/Mobile Networks/Access Point Names. Inside there you should see various APNs. Click on them to see settings.

If for some strange reason you have no APNs to see, you can create one from scratch and save it.
After I installed CM 12.1 I do not have the Access Point Names selection under Mobile Networks. Had to ADB shell in to it.
