Stock CM here. No lag experienced here, could it be the launcher you're using if it's home screen jerkiness? CM kernels have always been the most reliable since CM6 in my opinion. What kernel do you guys run? The stock one seems to have some lag.
No, I run the Google Now Launcher on my Turbo, baybutcher's kernel seemed to help a lot. I just set the governor to conservative.Stock CM here. I've never had a connectivity issue that couldn't be resolved by going to Settings → Mobile Network and changing Preferred Network from LTE to Global or to 3G, and then back to LTE. I've only done this twice. But I've also had to do this when my Turbo was completely stock and locked. I'd switch from CDMA to GSM and back again (or something like that) because I'd be stuck on 3G. I did this at least once a month.Has anyone found out why some people are experiencing 3g lock? Im about to switch to cm but i want to make sure ill get proper service.
yea, im getting tired of things not working so smoothly, i put up with it for years, but i refuse to get a iphone, mabye nexus for my next one.I've never had a connectivity issue that couldn't be resolved by going to Settings → Mobile Network and changing Preferred Network from LTE to Global or to 3G, and then back to LTE. My point is that I don't think this has any connectivity issues. Cell phones are just annoying.
No, not on LTEOk so I'm thinking of given this CM 12 a try. But I have a few questions. 1) can I talk and be on the internet at the same time Verizon Droid Turbo XT 1254.
That sucks, as I like that feature.. O well maybe next time..No, not on LTE
No. You can flash the XT1250 radio, but it has the same FCC ID and same bands as the XT1254.I have a Verizon Turbo 1254 that I'm using on at&t. H+ is great at all, and I even pull LTE in certain areas, but would it be possible to enable more bands by cross flashing a different variants radio or otherwise?

Not to get off thread topic, but don't be fooled. I've helped friends and coworkers with iPhone problems. It's all the same. We don't own them, so we don't know them. But I agree that our next phone should say Nexus on it.yea, im getting tired of things not working so smoothly, i put up with it for years, but i refuse to get a iphone.
You shouldn't have to change a ROM that works straight out of the box for so many, but rooting isn't always glory and gold like people say... Go into your recovery and re-flash the ROM. Install it right over itself. Don't re-flash Gapps and don't wipe System or Data. After the flash is finished, wipe Cache and reboot. Let us know how that goes.My wifi is stuck on obtaining IP address, has anyone had this issue, i did a quick google search and changed the permissions on a certian file, but it has not helped
Before the Moto Maxx XT1225 (sibling to the Droid Turbo), my previous two phones (gen3 Galaxy Nexus, gen5 LG Nexus 5) were Nexus phones -- plus I have Nexus tablets. And yeah, multiply all that by two, for me and my wife. Not to get off thread topic, but don't be fooled. I've helped friends and coworkers with iPhone problems. It's all the same. System UI Tuner is not explicitly present in CM13, and is already in CM12.1 through the edit interface, which is just changed. Now on Tap is nice, can't tell much about Doze since things are still broken

Hey, I was running BHB27 kernel over CM12.1 snapshot, and battery life seemed a bit better, but I found that Bluetooth call audio was completely nonfunctional in my car... Tried finding a fix for it but couldn't locate it. Have you had any issues there?Just to let people know i got through my day today with 50% battery life left about 3 hours of SOT, that included some clash of clans and calling on skype, with the usual chrome browsing and youtube streaming, some on wifi and some off, i was using the latest nightly with the bh kernel
I agree everything you said, also, Moto phone have great call quality.
I was a big Nexus fanboi.
But Google should have released the 5.2" gen 6 Nexus 6 they were testing as late as mid-August 2014 instead of the 6" whale they went with.THAT is the only reason I don't own a Nexus phone now.
The 5.2", 1440p Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM, 3900 mAh battery with Qi wireless charging Quark was what the Moto Nexus 6 SHOULD HAVE BEEN. I bought three of them.
The current Nexus 6P is still too big and the 5X is too underpowered (2GB RAM, 1080p, no Qi). HA!

FYI:
Because @ Skrilax_CZ is the Quark CM dev.
But CM13 still needs more work to run without issues. Give him time.
I have not tested that out yet, my license got taken the other dayHey, I was running BHB27 kernel over CM12.1 snapshot, and battery life seemed a bit better, but I found that Bluetooth call audio was completely nonfunctional in my car... I'm pretty much with you on that. I've had Nexus phones since the 4 (even though I was tempted by a few others here and there, but I always went back). I was completely turned off by the Nexus 6 so I skipped. I really really was tempted by the Droid Turbo but the bottom line was that I need a phone that is unlocked and has substantial dev work going on so at the end of the day I didn't bite. Before the Moto Maxx XT1225 (sibling to the Droid Turbo), my previous two phones (gen3 Galaxy Nexus, gen5 LG Nexus 5) were Nexus phones -- plus I have Nexus tablets. I bought three of these Quarks, I love them so much -- one for me, my wife, and a backup still in the box. It was never about the cost -- it was about specs and size..
Well, the Droid Turbo XT1254 was handicapped by the locked bootloader until November 2015. But all the other Quarks (XT1250, XT1225) have unlocked bootloaders from the beginning -- including the "Droid Turbo"-identical FCC ID U.S. Moto Maxx XT1250 (sold by regional U.S. CDMA/LTE carriers) that runs on Verizon with a Verizon SIM card like a non-Verizon Nexus 6. IT'S THE EXACTLY SAME DEVICE AS THE DROID TURBO. Many people bought it instead of the Droid Turbo, rooted it, and ran it with xposed, ect.I'm pretty much with you on that. On another note I still thought that the 6P was too large but after spending some time with it I was pretty surprised how quickly I adjusted to it.
