@Khanov or anyone else - I am not familiar with Motorola, but I have a XT1650-03 and have bootloader unlocked it. In order to bootloader lock it again, I need the signed boot image from the factory build.

Which of these files that you have linked would be for this device? I am in the US

Did u already flashed a modified boot?

Can someone upload the EU stock firmware (if they have it downloaded) to MEGA or another faster service? I find it really sad that people are still using services like Mediafire and FileFactory when there is MEGA, considering that i don't want to download a single zip file for 4 entire hours, especially when i have Gigabit. If someone could do me that favor, that would be really nice.

I flashed the firmware that was in the link in this thread and it tells me the boot.img is no signed, when i flash evertyhing and go to lock the bootloader, it tells me still waiting on signed boot.img, anyone have clue on this issue? thanks

did u use mfastboot ?
i usually use it to flash manually
mfastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
mfastboot flash boot boot.img
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img

I have the same issue. How can we lock again the bootloader ???

(bootloader) Security version downgrade
(bootloader) Image boot failed validation
(bootloader) Preflash validation failed
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 1.260s

and

(bootloader) Still require signed boot.img
OKAY [ 0.020s]
finished. total time: 0.020s

I used just used regular fastboot.......... no mfastboot , is that the problem? I don`t have the vstrom any more it had 70,000 when i sold it:good:

yeah I tired the Mfastboot and goes through the flashing all the files and right at the end I do the command to lock the bootloader still gives me the message waiting on signed boot.img:confused:

latest roms are too big for fastboot so mfastboot is needed

the file is what was on filefactory so no warranties

moto won't offer dl for the z line
they do for the x line though so maybe it will come

well tried and the boot.img isn't signed.
moto has software repair utility that should reflash the unit
but it refuses to d/l:

pushed the d/l button but nothing happened
u may try - i suspect it supports us only versions

yeah I tried that and I get to where it wants to me download moto helper and basically stops, so looks like until we actually get true signed firmware, I don`t think we ever get the bootloader relocked.
