How did you get the animation in the boot logo??I used this method for X Style and Z2F. It's very easy to use. The difficult thing is to make images.

I believe logo and boot animation are two different things. If you want to animate your logo, then take your logo image and create an animation with it and make a boot animation to follow the logo. By animating the same image used in the logo, it'll look seamless.Check what slot is your current slot 'fastboot getvar all'

You need to be rooted. Can't flash logo.bin without root since it isn't official signed, and bootanimation is in system, which can't be modded without root.I did this alot with my Transformer Prime but I rooted it. Does this work without root? I've already have some animation files made. One is the USS Enterprises that flys across the screen and my favorite is the Android Robot flying in with a hammer and smashing the Apple apple logo. Have a few more too. I'd love to put one on my Z2 if possible without root. If anyone wants the files let me know and I'll dig them up. I'll have to look for them as it's been a few years since I played around with boot animation.
Nice animation, thanks for posting... Heres one im using at the moment. Not sure where i found it at but i was using it on my Nexus 6p alsoI'm back guys
The logo appears when we press power button. The logo includes static images. These images change for particular situation.
After the logo, the bootanimation comes. It is the "animation". So it can be a video or series of images (for my situatuon, I used images and it was Motorola's bootanimation with bigger size).
For ATT, we can replace the logo with flash all.
The animation, of course, is not.
If someone's got rooted and loves the anmation, I'll upload it to the first post.
