Q3 starts in July. But it could very well arrive in August or even September.

We will receive 4.4.2 with some security patches from new versions. That's it.It was very clear to me. So, how is it gonna be: we'll receive the 4.4.2, and after, during Q3, they'll release the updates (.3 and .4) OR we'll receive directly the 4.4.4, but we'll receive that later than we expected?
most carriers have a 4 to 6 week cycle but some are as long as 5 months if you can believe that...
September... When Moto X+1, Samsung Note 4, Nexus 6 and iPhone 6 are gonna be released! Oh God...
I come back here every once and a while to see if it might be worth plugging in my formerly beloved RAZR i - to no avail. Incredible to realize that NINE months ago when I switched to iPhone we were still wondering when/if we would ever get kitkat update. My iPhone has received five updates in that time and is now solid beyond belief and will be updated regularly for at least the next three years. The Android update model is broken.
Please, take you're icrap and shove it up somewhere so freaking far we wont hear a word from you here again about you're **** phone. Thanks!
Yeah sure, if you have no problems with overpriced hardware and peripherals, also restrictive OS and censored store content, also unsocial company behavior and let's not forget non fixable devices that allows no recycling of any hardware parts or what so ever,I come back here every once and a while to see if it might be worth plugging in my formerly beloved RAZR i - to no avail. No need to be rude. I use both android and iOS devices, and although I prefer android by far, iolinux333 is right: the state of android upgrades is deplorable. I have owned many android devices; all of them without exception had the problems that there were far behind the official latest version of android, and became obsolete far too soon due to manufacturers not wanting to update them. Funnily for all of this, they always use the excuse that the it's the carrier fault due to all the testing required...
Maybe they can just wait and directly ship Lollypop. Looks amazing![]()

I agree. I'll defiantly enjoy KitKat and its improvements until the end of this year when I will switch to an L Release device.I'd appreciate kitkat nonetheless. So many popular phones not even getting this, do we should be grateful.
