I hope some of you get a chance to go to Vzw today because it's the last day of the back up battery charger sale... I paid under 30 bucks for this little one... There is a huge one for 80 bucks bit not worth it... The cord plugs into its own space on the device for storage and less mess, and it has a usb for other non micro devices

Size is 1860mah which is about 1 extra battery for us... For the price I got it and will have it for emergency

Thanks for a heads up but you can get better deals on battery packs on Amazon. You can get a lot more mah for not much more at all.

I got it mostly for size also... Every one I see on Amazon is a square brick... This is nice and compact and rounded fits nicely in the pocket

Yeah very true. I guess it's just a trade off on how much battery you want, compared to how big of a brick do you want to carry around lol

mine is about the size of 2 fingers put together, it's not a flat fit in your pocket but it leaves room for other stuff, plus it's 5600 mAh and cost about the same
Link? Brand? I despise the knock off batteries they sell on eBay no matter how cheap

That's nice but it would require me to carry around the usb cord... The Motorola one has it wrapped around and stores in the unit... It has a usb plug for alternate devices too

it's small but it's also relatively slow charging. the bigger ones have a faster charge rate. also it comes with a white cable that you can put whatever head you want on it, but i personally just use a nice black (personal preference for colors) USB cable that is a bit longer so i can just leave the battery in my pocket and still use the phone

Has anyone else noticed that using these is causing the phone to charge at USB speed rather than 5v/1a speed? It's a DNA specific issue, as my other phones charge at full speed...

I paid 43 for a 10,000mah anker backup. perfect for if there's a power outage again, like during the hurricane when I was out for a week

I gave this to my girlfriend who is always having her battery die when she needs it... I bought a 3200 anker from amazon for like 25 bucks... the anker charges a lot faster but I'm not sure if its from the Kernel/Mod that has the fast charge mod ... honestly I never need to use it unless I decide to go out after work 15+ hours off the charger... I immediately bought the back up thinking I would need it every day but I only use it about every other week

Thanks for the recommendation  But I think the Anker® Astro3E 10000mAh is more "bang the buck" :good:

I go to school and carry a back pack around all day. My friend has a back pack that can charge phones it's called a power bag. It could also be a route to charge your phone on the go.
