Motorola Defy : Gallery doesnt load images on CM10

Hi all,

I have installed CM 10 on my defy from Quarx (17/08 Build) from the following location

I did clean install (factory reset , cache wipe and dalvick cache wipe) . Also tried reflashing the gapps once but with cache wipe but doesnt work

I used 27/07 gapps.

Some how gallery doesnt show any images which are in the memory card, when i click on settings nothing show up.

thought of posting this in the above thread but xda doesnt allow me to do so, if anybody has a solution please help me.

Even the picasa sync albums are also not shown.

Hi Zoakoo2 thank you QuickPic works.

I tried Gallery ICS from playstore earlier that did not work, so thought it could be issue with some of the devices.

If there is a solution to this default gallery issue please let me know.

do you have a high class sd card? class 6/ above i think? if you do, GO THROUGH the cm10 dev section, search theres a fix.

Its something to do with reformatting the card. I dont know what it is because i have a class 4 card!

Ive had this problem and a Fresh Installation solved it for me(i already did one before but it seems like some bugs got in there)

I have this problem only with the gallery app, apollo shows all the mp3s on my card

I will try a fresh install with reformatting the card! Hope this works!

Also one more question I find only 50-60 MB of RAM free but have seen few people have around 150MB of RAM free.

recently i find a new problem, the gallery will close when i view a picture,but this problem will not show again after i clear the data and cache. same to you ,the gallery cant show the picasa sync album, however ,cm10 now is still wait to be fixed to perfect

I reformatted my memory card and did a clean install of Quarx 17/08, still images don't show up in default gallery.

Hi all,

I had different scenario here, my stock gallery only shown photo capture with stock camera, but didn't shown those taken by Camera360...
and this also happened to Scalado as well....

i had the same problem in cm10 12/8 i used a gallery link someone gave me in cm10 quarx post and it worked. then i updated it to 17/8 without formatting data and its showing images in gallery till now not updated to 22/8

I updated with latest build from quarx 22/08 now my gallery can show images taken from stock camera as well as from other apps like (camera 360 & lg camera)

i read some people had problems in 22/8 so i did not go to that build
