Since all devices running Android 2.3.7 or lower may no longer sign into any google made apks, finding a working setup for a Droid 2 nowadays can be tricky and with a 3.7-inch screen size, this phone is even trickier to play a game of super ghouls n' ghosts on however when I re-keyed the buttons to the keyboard it wasn't so bad. There's so much bloatware on the device its practically mandatory, but you can try without, however I recommend first rooting the device in order to run a copy of titanium backup pro as it has the ability to freeze and even uninstall the default apks hogging all the ram (turn the tbp apk into the donate version or pro versions (which unlock the same thing) by purchasing a $5 text file and putting it in the root folder of the SD card). The "One-Click Root" is here, I used v1.4.1 (when you start seeing messages about superuser, the device has been rooted). The cm9 custom rom is here and additional useful info, but I didn't install the custom rom or need to use any of the additional info. Make sure not to update any of these apps as they are at their latest truly compatible version. The camera works pretty nice for 5mp, anyways I hope this helps!
