My operator don't support MEID, and I need switch Motorola DROID from MEID to ESN only mode.

Launched QXDM, pressed F11, and then at the command prompt:

1. spc 000000 - OK
2. RequestNVItemRead scm - get scm = 0xB8
3. RequestNVItemWrite scm 0x28 - OK
4. RequestNVItemRead scm - get scm = 0x28

But after reboot scm = 0x38. What am I doing wrong? DROID just does not save settings authorization for EVDO, after a reboot everything is resets to Verizon's login and password.

Can anyone help with this?

Check out these two links. The 1st is changing esn with free/demo software on blackberry. The second is changing the meid and also an option of switching from esn to meid mode on the htc hero. Also, someone I know used a combination of the two to change the meid of the HTC Eris. I know the way the second link changes from meid to esn modes may be very similar or the same, but the point is try different things or combine methods. Even though the HTC Eris is very similar to the HTC Hero it took a combination of techniques to change MEID. And know it was more difficult than changing the memory address to those of the Eris. The links are from google's cache so you do not have to worry about logging in and having enough posts to view links etc....

Sorry... couldn't post the links b/c my account is new. I will PM the links to you.

not possible

As of today in this whole world it is not possible to change the MEID of Motorola Droid. So all people out there stop expecting the unexpected and get ur MEID registered to your service providers network :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.
Thats is the only option, nothing more or nothing less :p:p:p:p:p
