Mouse causes crash in apps?

I sideloaded Five nights at Freddy's 1, 2 and 3 (demo) on the Fire TV and they worked just fine in the past. I tried to run them today and they crash as soon as the USB mouse moves. No other apps including other non-FireTV-native apps exhibit this behavior. It might be related to the last software update since that's the only thing that changed.
