You can't expect Sony to change Google's apps. Doing a cold start of Maps always has a slightly lower frame rate on any device.Loading some apps like Gmaps there is a NOTICEABLE frame rate drop in the transition animation
I tried it 10 times opening and closing. On the n4 is perfectly smooth so the ONLY conclusions areYou can't expect Sony to change Google's apps. Doing a cold start of Maps always has a slightly lower frame rate on any device.

I dont think so, the S4 pro is more than capable of handling a 1080 p screen. It's just bad optimization. The droid DNA/butterfly is fairly fast and uses the same SoC.I still believe that S4 Pro is not strong enough to run flawlessly on a full HD resolution with OEM launcher.
Not sure with a sightly upgraded S600, but still better.
It's answer 2I tried it 10 times opening and closing. On the n4 is perfectly smooth so the ONLY conclusions are
1) Res is too high for the S4
2) Sonys Rom is not optimized enough
That's true.Nothing is going to be snappy like the n4 running stock jb suck I didn't receive mine today. Delivery Monday. Ugh
