General MSM tool for LE2125 - 11.2.2.2.LE15AA

Have you tried to use the MSM tool with the china variant? I have the LE2120 but I am so sad that there isn't a version to rely on if my phone got bricked. Does anyone know if I can use another version like the Indian version perhaps to try and unbrick my phone if this ever happens?

Because I have the same problem with the chinese variant of the OP9 (LE2110) and I could not get the MSM Tool for the indian or global variant to work with my phone. Even when I use an old computer (USB2) and the USB A to C cable.

No it doesn't work. Contact oneplus china they will send you the tool for this variant and arrange you a TeamViewer session to fix this for you. It needs a password since it's encrypted so we can't just use this unfortunately.

After using this to restore my LE2125 and updating with OTA to 11.2.7.7, I get an error message from my Verizon sim saying my phone doesn't support CDMA, and in my Verizon app it says my phone is not configured to automatically select the best network service type. How do I fix this? Is there a way to update the modem and other firmware partitions? There's no full zip available for the AA models so I can't extract all of those partitions to flash

This is common, my bitdefender detected it but supposedly its a known false positive having to do with the way it downloads things. Let me see if I can update this reply with more specifics

In an effort to protect reverse engineering from being done (and by extension prevent conversion process like it was done on 6T and 7Pro), OnePlus now use VM Protect V3 in their MSM tools. As this tries to detect debug environment, this is seen as malicious behaviour by some antivirus.

I got it taken care of. I went to LOS my OP9 pro but it doesn't have the ability to take advantage of all the cameras. This thread is extremely appreciated as I had to go back to OOS which I'm ok with. It's like buying a Lambo and replacing the engine with a Honda. Don't take offense Honda owners, I own a CRV lol

is there anyway with the same tool flashing stock rom from older versions? Can you say the steps pls? For example , i want to downgrade on my op9 pro to 11.2.4.4 version!! ON MSM tool registered versions is 11.2.2.2! CAn i manually flash with tool 11.2.4.4? im no rooted

I FINALLY UNBRICK MY LE2120 with msm tool that prepared for india variant.

just power off your device by pressing vol up + and power button same time aprox. 15 seconds.

open msmtools that you were download. which is windows 7 version.

select the india from target selection on top

click volume up + and down same time and plug your cable then quickly click enum and start button.

I'm at a point where I would rather someone call/text me to walk me through this. Here is a list of what has transpired:

1. Finally got a custom ROM installed and tried to root it - it buggered up. Can get into fastboot, but fastboot commands don't work. When booting into recovery, the screen is all static looking. When booting system, it'll look like static, then start into a never-ending splash screen (loading screen).
2. Installed Qualcomm drivers .exe, rebooted. MSM tool says "waiting on device".
3. Uninstalled device on device manager, rebooted.
4. Downloaded Qualcomm drivers .7z. Computer cannot find the drivers listed in the folder.
5. Tried all 3 MSM tools just for kicks because why tf not at this point. All 3 say "waiting on device".
6. Googling relentlessly , trying to find anything that would help.
7. Device manager recognizes my device as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008", but MSM still giving same message.

Update: managed to get better USB drivers from Droidwin and installed the .inf (this is something I believe should also be posted in the stickies for people like me who install numerous versions of the drivers but still end up nowhere). This allowed me to actually run fastboot commands and install LOS recovery, then boot into it. Currently sideloading CrDroid.

ALL THIS TO SAY... if your device appears to be soft bricked, it MAY NOT be. This forum is a mess when it comes to searching for anything, and a ton of people who have issues do not get any responses. The MSM tool appears to be a lifesaver for those who need it. However, I did not need it in this instance, and due to me not being able to utilize it despite having the correct drivers, I hope I never need to.

Please help. I have the msmdownloadtool installed and the drivers working properly. I have the US LE2125 Oneplus 9 pro. I am using the tool version for the LE2125 but I an error after a few checks and status updates. It says "Device not match image" where the status is "Param preload". Does anyone know what causes this? I have tried several different downloads of the MSM tool that are made for my version of the oneplus but they all get to this same point and stop. The phone screen stays black and I cant get into recovery or bootloader mode but the MSM tool sees my phone but does not flash it. Any ideas?
