In my \windows\appbuttons folder there is a file "record.lnk", which contains the following reference: "24#:MSVOICE"
Unfortunately (unlike the stock rom), when I run the record.lnk shortcut, nothing happens. It seems the required program is not installed.
What needs to be installed so that MSVOICE will run?
(In the stock ROM, button 4 hold is mapped to Record.lnk and MSVOICE, so that I can hold down one button to start a voice recording and release the button to save the file.)
