gravitybox [KK] not working
xposed GEL module not working....
UNICON not working..
and many not tested..
all of these are Xposed modules they just force close...

coz unfortuantely i'd to move back to stock ROm KK indeed

If I am not mistaken Xposed frameworks will not work well/not work at all on some devices it frameworks are heavily modified by the OEM. Likewise, the HIVE UI is customized by some dev, so xposed might not probably work.

Can you port the hive rom to cherry mobile excalibur?almost same specs and design of xolo 8x-1000, the difference is only the ram.
here's the specs:

I also got this Cherry Mobile Excalibur a.k.a Xolo 8x-1000. Excalibur has only 1gb ram and 8gb rom while 8x-1000 has 2gb ram and 16gb rom. Out of the box Cherry Mobile Excalibur runs on stock android kitkat 4.4.2 perhaps it is better if it runs on Hive OS.I tried flashing Xolo 8x-1000 using spflashtools but it only stop with an error.I also rooted and has custom recovery installed on myphone. Please port Hive OS to Excalibur.

this is an amazing work and i am sure everybody was extremely eager for this. But bro can you help me rooting stock 4.4.2 on my Q1010i. Framaroot didnt work
KingRoot claims to root but doesnt actually root
I even tried SP Tools method and ended up geting an error in scatter file.
Please help me with a 100% working method which you tried, and help me with the files if possible

and install the hive rom on q1010i
phone gets hangs on logo......................................

Here Kitkat room are pre sued....
Means already rooted...

U just need to flash them....

And formal rooting is not yet possible in kitkat....

U can
1. Reflash ur rom

2. Can wipe cache and other stuff...

I recommend u to use flash tool to reflash rom again... :/

Does applying new themes work properly? last time when i tried this rom after applying different themes whole rom ui became buggy

There might be permission issue.
Set permission of /data/themes i.e. themes folder to 0777.
You can do it by installing es file explorer and change permission of the folder. Hopes you know that how to do.

i do the same as u said bt in the process while flashing process started but after one second it stopped and saying that installation aborted....

This rom, is nive but I get Invalid IMEI problem how to Solve it
I try to solve it from mobile uncle but its shows " This command is not allowed in UserBuild"
I have taken my kk backup on my memory card after restored it solved but if i format my phone again its shows Invalid IMEI .
I want to know is there any folder in root which i take a copy in my memory card after installing any rom base on kk. I will replaced the folder which solve this i think so if im right than i want to know which folder should i copy to solve this.

I have rooted it with kingroot.apk
After rooting delete the superuser installed by kingroot from system/app.
