with my HU 1 gb ram, the last time i tryed it, the HU was slower with opengapp than microgapp, but maybe now it's not the case anymore...

MicroG will alwys be faster with 1Gb RAM as microG is less resource hungry.

Yes, in factory settings (password 126) you can change the boot logo, same as any MTCB/C/D/E unit.

Has not worked for me in this rom. Dunno why. I guess will have to be done manually, changing the right files in /system

Strange, have you tried the logo tools app ? @dsa8310 has put his own logo on his ROM, but I think @Johny DJ's version is based on an older version of @dsa8310's ROM before he added his logo.

No it does not, just remove it is you have not done/dont want to do the mod.

Hey. Found out a problem. When calling through the Bluetooth application, the sound goes only through the right speaker and the sound like the old phone when listening to music is all right. What could be the problem?

No I did not do mod. And calls to the bluetooth in the firmware Malaysk worked fine. I rarely use the handsfree in the car (I prefer the headset) but it's still interesting why on your firmware?

Its either to do with the way the factory does it on the ROM that this is based on or something to do with the CAN Bus on your car.

This is not my ROM, its @Johny DJ's modified version of @dsa8310's ROM.

Some car manufacturers do this cos you dont really need the phone output to all speakers - have you ever walked past a car parked at the side of the road while the driver is having a conversation on hands free through the stereo ? You can hear the person on the other end of the call outside the car very loudly ! Its probably why its set up like this.

. @Johny DJ thanks a lot for the rom and the optimization!! Good work!! I'm in Lollipop Lite with OpenGapps Version and it's from far the speedy of all I have test.

Got a few questions, all related to voice commands:

I have installed Google App for having the posibility of tell "Call Johnny", and the HeadUnit calls automatically to Johnny without touch anything. Good. It works, but it has an annoying response because the first time I do this, at the time it starts to call, it gives a Bluetooth error. A message at the screen is shown saying "Bluetooth is not connected" and "Connecting Bt version 2" (or something like that) . Then nothing happens. So I try again pressing micro icon and say "Call Johnny" and... it works perfectly!!
Of course, bluetooth is connected in all moment from the start. I can see the contacts trough the app and dial by hand but I don't know why the first try of voice dialing is not working and second yes!! Any idea??

And second question is... if I install official Google App (for voice dialing), it says that Google Play Services are needed to working properly, so it installs them also. I understand that doing this overwrite "OpenGapps / LITE version" and I loose many of the benefits of the rom. Am I wrong? Does exist an alternative native or other app more "resource-friendly" for voice calling?

Btw, how can I activate the billing service so I can activate the car launcher, with microg version? I can see my paid apps on playstore, but whenever i tap on activate/restore, nothing happens... Any ideas? Thanks guys!

The way around this is to run google play and uninstall the AG Launcher from there and immediately re-install. Now run the Launcher and activate or what ever message show up.

This is because of the latest mcu firmware. Flash the previous version (2.73 instead of 2.86) and the sound will be fine again..

This is because of the latest mcu firmware. Flash the previous version (2.73 instead of 2.86) and the sound will be fine again..

If he wants everyone in the street hearing his phone conversation very loudly through all 4 or 5 speakers then he should go ahead and install the previous MCU, if he wants a private conversation he should stick with the later one.

Well the idea with a private conversation is good, but in Europe it is a co-driver, who can have a private conversation, for the driver it is not really comfortable

Have you tried looking in factory settings and checking the "rudder" or "right rudder" box ? This is Chinlish for "right hand drive" and maybe yours is checked, or if it isnt checked, maybe the implementation is switched and you need to check it to get it on the left front speaker ?

I tried both settings. Only the right front speaker is working during the call :\
