Download the Malaysk ROM and extract the app, or install it and use an app like apkextractor to extract the app, then install this ROM and try installing the Malaysk app.i tried DSA and Malaysk ROMS they done good work but the HU was very laggy.
this firmware works perfect very smooth.
how can i change the music player app to the same one as in Malaysk ROM ?

I do it like this:i tried DSA and Malaysk ROMS they done good work but the HU was very laggy.

how can i change the music player app to the same one as in Malaysk ROM ?
I do it like this:
1- download RK3066_IMG_Mod_Tool and Ext2explore
2-decompress the 2 in two different folders
3- copy the MALAYSK 's update to the RK3066_IMG_Mod_Tool folder and rename it to "wendal"
4- click on "runme.bat" (the update will be decompressed in the folder "Temp" -> "image"
5-run as administrator "ext2explore.exe"
6- click on "file" and open the image "system.img"
7 search the file "music player app"
8- right click and click on "save"
after you have to go to HU (with "root explorer" or another), system, app, and replace the music player (I rename it with the name of the one who was in the rom).
And finally we must restart the unity
and normally it's ok
PS: sorry for my english
see you soon
You need to install the google now launcher.Hello I have installed openG version on an MTCC unit I have and it is much smoother than the stock firmware.
I am having a problem with Google Maps.
It was not installed by default(is this expected?) so I installed it from google play.
I can't get voice navigation in any language.
I get chimes sound instead.
I tried to download google text to speech and changed from pico tts to google tts but it doesn't work either.
Any ideas? Anyoone that faced this issue?
Thanks, I 'll try that. You need to install the google now launcher.
Yes, I know, the owner stopped maintaining it.Thanks, I 'll try that.
The fileserver in your signature does not work anymore?
Have you tried pming him ?Does anyone have a working link for the ttxp TomTom/Xposed module by dsa?
Yeah, not sure if he's still active or not, though.Have you tried pming him ?
Yeah, hes still active you can see his latest posts via his profile link, not in the MTCB forums though not since his threads were closed by mods "for maintenance".Yeah, not sure if he's still active or not, though.

Maybe mtc-manager is conflicting with the MCU's shutdown times ?I have a question regarding the shutdown behaviour of the Headunit. After having installed this rom, the headunit doesn't shut down when pushing the Cars startbutton, so it seems mtc-manager is working. However, if I set the shutdown time to 30 minutes in settings, it still shuts down after 2 minutes or so, it seems to coincide with the car shutting down itself.
Is this behaviour to be expected, or am I doing something wrong
Yeah, disable one method and see if the other works and vice versa. Is there any way I can test if this is the case?? And how do I change the MCU's shutdown times?
