I'm using it and it is great (widgets support, and many builtin functions like auto brightness, speed volume adjustment etc. so I don't need almost none of other xposed modules so even more memory and resources are available).

Before I switch to this ROM, from Malaysk KK, I would like to know if there are issues with this launcher.

BTW I would recommend including this launcher in ROM instead of stock one. Much better even free version has most of features enabled. And with this launcher you really don't need screensaver at al. You get speedometer and time and much more useful widgets out of box and for free....

UPDATE: 3.9.2017 - LITE VERSION - REMOVED BLOATWARE AND EXTRA OPTIMIZATION OF RAM MANAGEMENT, OPENING APPS ADN KERNEL OPTIMIZATION:
For now: 1024 x 600 version.
If everything is OK, will add 800 x 480

- added xposed status bar module for remove status bar items (copy mtc-status bar to external GPS Card)
- new screen saver without null null text
- removed all the bloatware callendar, calculator etc...
- added a lot of tweaks to speed the units with 1gb ram
- added new car launcher AG (trial) for me the best - full version 1€
- new xposed mtc manager 2.5 module

Optimizations:
- kernel tweaks (changed parameters of dalvik vm etc,...)
- better ram management
- faster scrolling
- faster boot
- better responsiveness
- increased performance and app ram management
- better video acceleration
- disable sending android logging stuff
- force gpu rendering
System now uses less than 490 Mb of ram

Interesting, what are your "optimisations" ?

Installed a microG version on a friend's head unit the other day, but Google voice doesnt work, any idea how to get it working ? It says it doesnt work due to the lack of Google services.

I can't help you with google voice because I don't use it and yes it is a problem with google services. You can try to update them but then probably microG won't work anymore.
There is also one more program googlesync add on. Maybe could help.

I can't help you with google voice because I don't use it and yes it is a problem with google services. You can try to update them but then probably microG won't work anymore.

I m not all that keen on microG persaonlly, I prefer openG really. Any chance of an openG version ?

Will think about it if I add all these tweaks to openG perhaps could make it faster, because now it's not as good as microG ver. is.
It takes about 10 seconds after boot to settle down and sound from poweramp etc. cranks when using maps, iGO etc... thats why I went to microG.
You don't have these problems because you are on 2 gb of ram.

Called Sound: its installed by default so you can remove it withing launcher and unninstall xposed module.

I m not on 2Gb yet, still not installed it !

And I ve got about 3 head units now, 1 MTCC and 2 MTCD, none of which are in use (apart from on the bench) cos the car is off the road at the moment !

I may keep the 2Gb RAM MTCD N unit and sell my MTCC, but then again maybe I wont, maybe I ll finally fit the extra Gb RAM and keep the MTCC, not sure yet really

I was thinking for my friend and for my MTCC until I fit the 1Gb (if I keep) it. I ve installed the openG version on other friend's units and its faster than "normal" G, I (and my friends) just want to keep the Google functionality and neither they nor me use Poweramp, although maybe your mods would solve those probs ?

Actually, surely we could easily make our own openG version by simply removing the microG apps and installing the openG ones ?

Would just need to know where they would go, system/app or system/priv-app and which to remove.

Hi Johny the latest ROM is wonderful. I especially liked the new launcher.
By the way I like google map 2.51 than the preinstalled version.
How can I upgrade the version of map?I tryed replaced the app(system/app/maps) but it did not work.

Just install as normal apk, it will upgrade the current version.

Yes you can, when releasing a new version I will include dpi at 160.

I have used device faker plus but even tho that I have used sm-G920F details Tomtom go wont show. Im on the latest lite rom. What can I do? Thank You.

Download and install it from usb or net like normal apk or wait if someone could help you because I don't use tom tom just iGo and maps
