I am using the Open GApps rom. Also my head unit is a Joying MTCB 1 Gig Ram. Originally 4.4 kitkatThank you for this wonderful rom. It is very fast and am loving it. But I do have one problem I was wondering if anyone might be able to answer. I can no longer connect to my WiFi at home. I tried several times and it can't find the IP address. I have checked and rechecked my password. I even removed security on my router. Still will not connect. It saves the Network Name (SSID), but just times out.
Thanks for any help
I use Poweramp: the playlist is configurable - you can opt out from system, nav folders. And I provided custom support for it related to fast music restart after power on...This is by far the best firmware i have tried yet for my unit. Try to use a fixed IP address.Thank you for this wonderful rom. It is very fast and am loving it. But I do have one problem I was wondering if anyone might be able to answer. I did do a wipe all when I installed, I did it again just in case. It still would not obtain IP address, but after I manually set IP address inside wifi settings on stereo it connected. Kinda weird that it would not connect by DHCP but I really don't care. Either way it works now. A Big Thumbs Up to you.Try to use a fixed IP address.
And, have you done a "wipe all" from recovery yet? Followed by HU reconfiguration, of course.
### #always restart
### #second to last
### usbmnt
### while ! am startservice -a com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND --ei cmd 3; do sleep 1; done
### sleep 2
Thank you for responding so quickly. I will give it a go.Comment out (with # in front of lines), with a root editor, then reboot, the following code toward end of script /etc/install-recovery.sh:
BTW, if script gets damaged (e.g. it becomes not executable), the fix is firmware installation anew, but without clear all, to preserve current configuration.Code:### #always restart ### #second to last ### usbmnt ### while ! am startservice -a com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND --ei cmd 3; do sleep 1; done ### sleep 2

But aren't you in breach of OP rules?!![]()
Please, reupdate the file, zippyshare deleted fileAs promised, the dsa logo kernels (thanks to SergioPoverony's tools), for either Open GApps or MicroG (LP!) firmware versions:
dsakernelKLD1024x600LP5.1.1.rk3188.MTCB-C.December.rar
dsakernelKLD800x480LP5.1.1.rk3188.MTCB-C.December.rar
Black kernels seem not needed - the original logo is an LP one.
I am not sure that there is a Settings/Factory Settings/Logo valid combination that would show the brief Android logo followed by the car (boot animation) logo, but anyway, just for fun & fans!
I will check it out later, 'cause I'm under LP again!
BTW, installation is swift since the update.img file is very small in size -- do not clear or wipe anything.

It's "Logo Animation One" (the default) that combines Android/DSA logo with boot animation/car logo, under LP.
I did not explore other boot animations beyond car logo, though I'm sure they are possible.
That's not absolutely necessary because fortunately current firmware does include the dsa kernels...Please, reupdate the file, zippyshare deleted file

Thank you for your reply, I installed the firmware from the op, with your logo on startup.Probably in the Settings/Factory Settings (password 126) menu, select the right BT device type?
Although your picture does not seem to represent my firmware...
