I have this one, I mean a .img file, you posted a reduced image some post before.

I recommend you to go to dasaita.com and there you will find a forum with a firmware section in which all firmware updates are periodically published
I have not been able to update by micro-sd. The last try even didn't load the recovery. I have reinstalled Android 10 with the micro-sd and it has revived again. I bought the cable and at the moment, can't get it to recognize the unit to be able to flash Android 11. I keep trying. I have installed the drivers that are on the dasaita page but when I put adbon nothing happens.
I have tried to update from A10 to A11 with Dasaita Tool, got this error - device has no image, reset button does not work - any hope to get this device to live again?

I have finally managed to update to android 11. I have done it with the card integrated in the motherboard (mine is from dasaita and it has it). The problem was the card used at the beginning, it had some kind of problem and it wouldn't let me do it. Change card for a 16 GB and magic installed and working. I tried it from Windows with a USB a to a cable and unfortunately there was some kind of short circuit with the unit and the USB output was damaged, now I only have one working, the computer one was also damaged, now only the USB 3.0 ones work. If you have a little more care than me.

Who could help me with my Eunavi PX5 LM head unit. I tried a lot but can't get update. I have made a micro SDcard 4GB with the SD card tool 1.62. The SD card is in the system recognized as GPS card. But i can reboot a thousand times nothing does happen. Oh and i have installed the latest MCU for this LM device.
It's also impossible to enter the recovery mode. Could i put just the android 10 zip file on the sd and update? Or does that brick the device? Thanks in advance

You can put an android 10 full image into the upgrade sdcard made by sdcardd tool 1.62
If everything is well recognized it will boot and install android 10....but it will take long time to perform the update as the sdcard is very slow

I do want the Bluetooth and wifi work, so it sounds like the android 10 doesn't work. How about 11? or 9?

Replace SOM with PX6. Can't tell what BT you have, either get from factory settings or dmesg
Md725 is not supported on A11 (and I think A10 as well) so...even if you in est on px6 som....you will have to upgrade as well the wifi/BT module
You have to put the recovery of the android version you want to move to.
If you are asking that I don't think you are prepared to do this...read a little bit more before.. there are lots of threads explaining concepts

I try to update my unit via the HA3 img ROM but i get black screen boot-loop since the sd card was inserted to the unit.

It didn't worked for me from 9 to 10 or 9 to 11 when 8 to 9 worked perfectly... I don't think the reduced images will work for you if full.kmages didn't

I've been reading this thread for past day or so, trying different methods to resolve my issue. I purchased a Dasaita VIVID PX6 head unit device couple of weeks ago, they informed me that the unit is out of stock and sent me MAX device instead and then upgrade it to VIVID myself.
I upgraded the head unit via USB stick but apparently I flashed VIVID (Android 10) OTA while I was unaware they sent me a MAX (Android 11) device until after I flashed the update. My issue now is stuck on Subaru logo. The RST button is not doing anything for me while I tried the sd card method.
I'm hoping someone can assist on what proper image file or update files I should try. I have 2 8gb sd cards and USB-A to USB-A cable available.

First note - if coming from Android 6 - early versions of Realtek dual BT/WIFI (type 2) are not supported past Android 6.

The only fix is to replace the wifi/bt module with the supported "type 1" GOC-MD-725. See this thread for details (placeholder)
Risk:
Also, there is risk associated in upgrading. The SDCard method is known to result in back-screen, sometimes recoverable booting to recovery from SDcard again. If this method fails, OTG becomes the only recovery option.
Two Rockchip Official methods;
A. SDcard Method
Note: To use these methods, your unit must support booting from SDCard or USB. Not all MTC variants are created the same, so test first.
The following is required for SDcard method
- (1) Full ROM in .IMG format
OR
- (1b) bootloader/recovery only image to flash recovery,

2. Insert and boot from SDcard, follow prompts.
3. Wait for install to complete...and can take some time
(1b) Flash boot/recovery image then an OTA zip. Thanks to @ikerg for recovery .IMG files.
2b. Create SDCard using Rockchip SDcard create tool with .img
3b. Insert and boot from SDcard, follow prompts.
4b. After flashing, remove SDCard, boot to recovery then flash an OTA from another SDCard or USB stick.

B. OTG method - "Never fail, flash like a Boss, impress your friends method"
*May require Jig, or if lucky an USB A-A cable.)
The below method will recover a 'bricked' or non-booting unit.
If wanting to backup your ROM and test other ROMs, this is the method you want.
The following is required:
- ROM in .img format, or partiton extract
- Android Tool and Driver:

1. Install Rockchip driver and Android Tool on PC/Laptop.
2. First try connecting your unit USB to USB using cable to PC. Try all headunit USB ports.
3. Try entering recovery. If successful you will hear the new device chime on your PC and the headunit will be connected.

4. Using Android Tool connected via USB - Flash SOM using .img file. If image file does not install, erase flash first after selecting .img file.

Note: Best, most successful risk free method - OTG7I will share some reduced images for recovery upgrade only....after upgrading the recovery you can upgrade to the latest OTA
This process should be faster than upgrading with a 2.5 gb image from sdcard...as once rexovery is upgraded (70MB image) you can use the usb for upgrading to the latest ota image you downloaded
Android 8, 9 and 10 for px5 & px6 (only android 9 and 10. No android 8 is available for px6) can be downloaded and selected within sd boot card program.
I haven't tried them yet as my px5 has md725 chip and currently my car with px6 is on service
