MTP and MP3 tags

Hi everyone,

I got my One some days ago and stumbled upon an issue with the MTP mode and MP3 tags.

Originaly I found out that my car is not able to read the correct MP3 tags when connected via USB in MTP mode.
Digging deeper I also figured out that this applies also when the One is connected to my PC.
Apparently this is an HTC Sense problem as it seems to work for One users on CM10.X.

The only information shown is the title of the MP3, nothing more.
For the PC connection it is not a huge problem, but within my car it is not possible to browse or search through the library properly.

I wonder if any of our beloved devs in here would like to work on that problem!?
I am not a developer by myself nor do I have programming skills - but I am willing to support, test and dig into as good as I can.

If anyone already has solution I would be eager to know!

Ignore me - this wasn't a good suggestion as I didn't read your post very well...

I'm curious - does it read the tags properly over bluetooth? Or is your head unit not BT capable?

Bluetooth is working ok!

But I can't browse through the library, it is playing what I selected on the device...

And even with the latest release of Sense 5.5 HTC didn't manage to fix it...

I tried to figure out where the settings for MTP are, but as I am not a dev it is a dead end...
Seems to be distributed to several classes / apks / whatsoever...
