MTP initialization

This question is all over and i'm a lil lost. I just got my 7.7, stock P6800. I plug it into my mac and there's this cross on the batt on the device. I'm assuming it wont charge with the USB cable that came with it. So i went to buy another. Same problem.

I installed Kies on my mac and it can sync tho. I just can't seem to be able to mount it to my mac and transfer files like a USB drive.

have you tried turning off usb debugging?
also the tab won't charge with the usb connected to the pc cuz the charge voltage is too low.. you need to modify your build.prop to force usb charging or flash sk806(steve's) custom rom

yes i toggled USB debugging on/off. :S
