Muffled Bluetooth issue, how about you?

So I recently went with the new Note 8 from the S8 and I have this weird issue when on a call in my F150 through bluetooth. If my wife, who is on an S8 is using her speaker phone and I'm on Bluetooth, the audio gets muffled sometimes and I can't understand what she is saying. If I switch to speaker phone too, it's fine, if I talk to her on Hangouts, it's fine. If she calls me using the regular method, it's fine. It's just when she calls me on speaker phone and I'm on Bluetooth. I've tried disabling HD calling on both phones.

Not sure it's any help but when my wife calls me from her note 8 via her Toyota Prius via Bluetooth I here screeching type noises , there's definitely something going on that wasn't with there with her old S8 .

Just to clarify , she's using her note 8 via Bluetooth to talk to me on my note 8 that isn't connected to Bluetooth.

Hmm interesting. I'm just trying to figure out if it's my note8, wife's s8. I feel like it's over compensating the noise canceling

I think it's the note 8, before I couldn't hear screeching artifacts when she used the S8 or other Galaxy phones prior in her vehicle, with the note 8 I can.
