the one i use... just add some more files inside the V1 zip. and name it as version 3

Flashed erobot v2.3P, edited build prop, flashed mod v3, multi window button isn't showing and back/recent buttons are inverted, ideas? Ty.

New version v4 5 layout multiwindow

I just updated the first post with a totally new version of the mod that uses the mini apps tray bar to provide a 5 layout multi window option...check post #2 in my Tab Plus thread for screenshots and please follow the directions because u STILL must install V2 and this update is ONLY tablet ui for the time being

going to test when zip file available for eRobot 2.3p ROM? cause i prefer it now over the tablet UI.

Thanks for your great effort, the Screen Shots looks amazing.
Can you enable the screen shot using swipe on eRobot too? it's minor issue, but you don't know when you need it.

another user will have to confirm this but i THINK u will still need to install the xposed framework with the tablet ui module BEFORE u flash the mod files...hopefully someone else who actually owns a P6800 will be able to help u out

I have P6800 with Erobot v2.3, I use below step to have tabletui working.

1. Install erobot v2.3 rom via cwm or twrp (backup internal storage coz this rom will erase all data in internal storage)
2. Restart and edit build.prop as op said.
3. Reboot into cwm or twrp, flash v2 or v3 zip, reboot.
4. Install xposed and APP Settings mod, enable appsettingmod in xposed, reboot.
5. Open appsetting, find touchwiz home and set touchwiz home dpi to 213.
6. Open xposed and enable tabletui mod. Edit build.prop ro.sf.lcd_density to 176. Reboot.
7. You now will have tabletui and large touchwiz icon.
8. Reboot to cwm or twrp and flash v4 if you like the new multiwindow mode.

Ps. I personally don't like the new v4 ui, coz i found that notification not working very well in this new v4 ui.

Sure! First you must ensure you have Root(if you do not know what means Root, i suggest you forget this and buy a note 8 yourself) and have CWM or TWRP recovery flashed. If you have both, then follow this:-

1. Boot into cwm or twrp recovery, make a backup before continue.
2. Flash P6800 deodex MD3 mod(a must) in cwm or twmr. REROOT your phone.
3. Reboot and edit build.prop as OP said. Reboot into cwm or twrp again.
4. Flash multiwindow mod v3 or v4. Wipe both cache and reboot.

is it just me or v4 file did not flash the new systemui. i had to push it manually for it to work.

yeah, all of my zips are apparently still coming out corrupted but it could possibly be the combination of zip & recovery...i would like to know how it worked for the other users in this thread though

slightly off-topic: Has any dev here ever tried to create a flashable zip version of JB 4.1.2 from the 3g variant for the P6210 owners? Other than maybe a missing icon or 2 i don't see why that wouldn't work....which makes me wonder has anybody ever even attempted it

none that i ever heard off... there's also some other files different... and the partition. UITA might look into it. since we dont really have lots of devs. the current active one is only Daniel_hk for his CM10.1 variants build and UITA for kernels. I never released anything complete myself since i dont seem to have the patience to support people =_= with my own custom build... i dont even release the erobot that i had already fix some issue including your awesome multiwindow mod in it... and i'm not a dev... just do it for fun during my free time.

supposedly it is a switch @xperiacle implemented for an expanded desktop mode & is still present since this is just a hacked version of his work...i could just delete it but it doesnt bother me much although i would love to get it working with our tab so i could delete another app (currently using "fullscreen" from the play store)

I have updated the first post with 2 versions of the 5 layout mod...one with the default navigation button order and another with the order reversed. Also, this mod CAN be used in phablet mode but keep in mind that the system ui will force close EVERY time u unlock your screen (it will work fine after that) so u either need to disable the lockscreen or just deal with the annoyance.

Yes BUT u will have a force close every time u unlock your device UNLESS u disable the lockscreen...please read the UPDATE V4 section of my original thread in the Tab Plus forums for more info

Install Instructions
1. Install rom using CWM or TWRP
2. Edit your build prop by adding the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 at the very bottom (may also need to change dpi)
3. Flash the P6800 V2 file below followed by V4
4. Delete flashbarservice.apk located in system/app

Perhaps it would be better to indicate a best possible DPI which gives the lease FCs on apps?
