This should apply to both of u guys...when u get to step 3 u will need to unzip & install the files from V2 (this one may flash ok...not sure) & V4 (pretty certain this one has problems) manually using TWRP or AROMA due to corrupt zip issues. I apologize about the inconvience but everything should work fine after that...dont forget to set perms as well[/QUOTE]

hey bro
im so sorry but what do you mean about manually using twrp or aroma ??????
Ive got cwm , is there something wrong with that?
or i must use those recovery ?

And why should we unzip ? There is nothing to insrall there?!?!?!?!

im also a CWM afficionado but TWRP gives more option like the bootloader file manager that you can use to manually push/copy the necessary files needed to the system folder. the zipfiles are not 'installing' the way the author intended to and you have to manually extract it. What I did was to extract the V2 contents using root explorer, reboot to twrp, mount the 'system' and use the twrp built in file explorer (under advance button) and copy the extracted system file to / (root) folder. thanks to ldroid.

look dont care about that, just extract the zip v2(77mb), and go to root explorer and replace the files in to root of your tab,
but dont copy the hole folder ( system) and past it in root, go to system folder of v2 and app copy the apps into system/apps, first your ui will force close but dont care about that keep going and copy the rest, when all the files are copied i think tht last one is permissions folder, when you copied that tab will restart and come with a new look like note8,

and its better to change your dpi to 196 its good.

if you'r going to change DPI, your number must have a 6, like 196/186/176
i tried tree of them but 196 is too small, 176 is good but its like ics and officak jb, (( i mean notifications are down right of screen and apps button is up right)) , but 186 is good, icons are good, and notifications are up to down, and apps button is down right like note 8,
it hink its good, its up to you which one of DPI'S do you like,

and this rom gives you more grasp graphics, i have mirrors and even have more reflection of my car in real racing 3,
sorry for my english

Help, Multi window works, but i get Touchwiz FC

I have P6800 with Erobot v2.3, I use below step to have tabletui working.

1. Install erobot v2.3 rom via cwm or twrp (backup internal storage coz this rom will erase all data in internal storage)
2. Restart and edit build.prop as op said.
3. Reboot into cwm or twrp, flash v2 or v3 zip, reboot.
4. Install xposed and APP Settings mod, enable appsettingmod in xposed, reboot.
5. Open appsetting, find touchwiz home and set touchwiz home dpi to 213.
6. Open xposed and enable tabletui mod. Edit build.prop ro.sf.lcd_density to 176. Reboot.
7. You now will have tabletui and large touchwiz icon.
8. Reboot to cwm or twrp and flash v4 if you like the new multiwindow mode.

Ps. I personally don't like the new v4 ui, coz i found that notification not working very well in this new v4 ui.

Hope this help.

Try to clear touchwiz data via settings, application manager, select "All" tab, scroll down and search for TouchWiz Home, Force Close, Clear Data, should work after that.

Hello, I am running eRobot Rom the latest version with CWM and I tried to install this using CWM and it didn't work, so I tried to copy the files manually into the system and that corrupted my Rom and I had to reinstall.
Can u please tell me the steps to follow to install this on my eRobot Rom with CWM?

Thank you very much for that, I followed the steps and I now have V2 installed and working on my P6800 at last :)
Question now is I guess is should I install V4 or keep using V2? What do I gain/loose?
I'm running latest eRobot ROM with Phablet UI

I was advised that you could flash the v4 as is. but what I did was to manually push the files just like V2.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info :)

I wanted to know what is new in V4 or what would be gaining by installing V4? I'm currently very happy with V2, will I be loosing anything by installing V4?

Also whenever I try to change DPI using build.prop TW home always crashes :S

Found a solution when editing DPI using build.prop and TW home always crash, go to settings > application manager > all > TW Home > Clear Data

Enjoy :)

PDATE V4: MAJOR CHANGE...i finally got the 5 layout multi window working for our device and i must say that it's a HUGE improvement over the older versions in almost every way. Of course there are a few issues but i haven't found any deal breakers during my 24 hours of testing which is why i wanted to go ahead and post this...i'm sure u guys will encounter some problems that i may not have discovered so please feel free to report your findings so we can iron out any issues. I will offer 2 versions, one with the default button order and one with them reversed...this mod CAN be used in phablet mode but keep in mind that the system ui will force close EVERY time u unlock your screen (it will work fine after that) so u either need to disable the lockscreen, just deal with the annoyance, or use the mod in tablet mode which is the preferred method. It may also be necessary to wipe data or even do an entirely fresh install with the newest firmware (MF1) which is HIGHLY recommend...i had a few issues until i did so and everything seems to be a LOT smoother since. Check post #2 for screenshots...for the time being u MUST still install V3 first but i will make a proper update once i work out a few of the bugs & u also will have to manually delete flashbarservice.apk in system/app in order for it function properly. U will probably notice an icon or 2 out of place or something labeled wrong (similar to when V2 was introduced but not as obvious) but i have found no major problems so far...there is an icon located next to the edit button that i'm not sure of it's function but do NOT press it because it will freeze your tab. And yes, of course i had to find that out the hard way, AGAIN...lol

it fixed some issues in v2, here's from the original thread by devious

Also; I don't change the DPI that much since it will cause a lot of instability, honestly, I didn't change anythin on the DPI section, I'm using the stock ROM + multiwindows (I love the tablet mode, gives me more screenspace :) )

Thanks for the info, I had read this part and the FC everytime I use the lockscreen put me off because I'm using eRobot ROM 2.3P which is running Phablet UI, can anyone confirm that V4 always suffers from this FC on eRobot ROM 2.3 ?

Also one more question is: Is there anyway I can get back the screenshot button at the bottom left corner? I really miss that button :(
