it breaks root...i think that apps that already had root permission may still work but any new apps that ask will be denied (or they will granted but not actually function properly). just to be sure re-root...it literally only takes a second with framaroot. As far as deodex, I'm sure there is a quicker way to tell but if u look in system/app u shouldn't see any ".odex" files...if u are NOT deodexed then there will be 2 of everything, one "apk" and one "odex"

yep...don't forget to change your build prop BEFORE u flash V2. Can u please report back if everything is ok after u install deodex...i've been wanting to make a thread in development so other users can enjoy it but have received zero feedback on it's functionality

yeah...those bootloops cant be normal but i'm glad its working for u now. The screen shot is below...the last line is what u want to add

Thanks....I've try reroot use framaroot, but its fail...I edit in build prop, save it, exit root explorer,...open again but that 1 I've type not there...install v2 in cwm, reboot nothing happen....I check in display,features only smartstay...im doing it wrong?

multi window is under "display - general" NOT "display - features"...what is the exact model of your tab because i'm starting to think u have a P6810 or some other variant(verizon version maybe)?

So to summarize up the things. If I want to stick with 160 DPI and tablet mode, i need the V1 zip, If I want to use phablet mode, with 213, I need the V2 ?

Yeah, thats probably the problem...use my stock(flash with odin) and my deodexed(flash with cwm) from the first post, edit the build prop, then flash V2 & u SHOULD be good

NO...V2 is EXACTLY the same as V1 but i just added the calender & ringtone apps that were force closing so people won't keep asking the same questions and don't have to read through the entire thread just to find the answers

Personally i cwm flash 2.3p from stock rooted jb. 2.3p prerooted, add last line in build prop then flash multi window zip. I didn't use odin.

Possible BUG: WiFi tether doesn't work with laptop. But works fine with phone (SGS).

Tried with a netbook. Can detect but cannot connect.
Tried with my laptop, dell XPS15, cannot detect.
Tried with my Samsung galaxy ​s, connect & function with no prob.

Tried USB tether with laptop, dell xps15, WORK with NO problem.
Can anyone test and verify?

It WILL connect on my tab but it takes a while(it's just as long for me even on pure stock without mods)...assuming u are using windows, when u try to connect u will see the circular icon over your wifi icon. Windows may even pop a box up thats specifically tells u "cannot connect"...IGNORE THIS MESSAGE(what it is really saying is "a normal network would have connected by now so whats wrong with your crap"...lol). Just keep your eye on the network icon...u should see it turn to a limited connection and may even notice it go back to the circular icon but eventually the limited icon will disappear and u will be good to go. The entire process takes less than 2 minutes but is much longer than the regular wifi network procedure...as i said earlier mine has been like this since i can remember.

ok, so i have a few questions that i need answered...first, what is the default mode for a STOCK P6800? (it seems like it's tablet mode which is weird because all the other tabs of similar size are using phablet by default in jb). Next, has anyone that is using erobot(which i'm asuming uses phablet mode) tried to use XPOSED to enable tablet ui because that will probably be the solution for @frogeed79 if stock does not work. Speaking of which, if it wont work for whatever reason then i'm gonna need some help from @edan1979 to help pin point the file/files that need to be added/replaced that will explain why this mod would work on erobot but not stock(i'm asuming its something from the note 8 but since the multi window files are also from the note 8 then we are obviously missing some key piece which would also explain why other forums are having trouble getting the mod to work with their devices). I'm now in the process of comparing the erobot rom, stock MD3, and a stock note 8 rom to see if i can identify the problem...any help that any user can provide to distinguish the difference would be great(like linking to a FULL changelist of erobot rom for starters)

what i found so far... we need to replace the splanner again back to 7.7 jb version. phone related apps (contact included) back to 7.7... basically any replacement from 7.7 to n8 files need to be revert...

currently only floating windows mode is working...

Ok, i'm obviously missing something here...so what rom are the rest of u guys using that has split mode & floating windows working at 160 dpi?
