Now that we have root, I'd thought I'd share this if you haven't heard of it or forgot about ituploadfromtaptalk1437888653443.jpg. I've used this on the G3 and can confirm it's also working on the G4. In my opinion, it's a much better method than editing the build.prop to enable ALL apps since this app let's you specifically select which apps you want enabled for dual window.

He just make an app to change the build.pro and make people pay for it.

No.

The difference between this app and editing the build.prop is that editing the build.prop makes ALL apps selectable in dual window mode, which also makes apps you would never ever want to use in dual window show up in the app selector pop-up.

This app enables or disables specific apps to be used for dual window mode so, when you press the dual window button, you don't have to scroll through every single app on your phone to select which two you want to share a screen. You only have to scroll through the apps you'd actually ever want to use for dual window.

That's why I prefer this app over editing the build.prop. It's a much cleaner solution.

So if you access dual-window through the multi-tasking screen, this app has no benefit? :p

It still has the benefit of enabling the apps you want to use in dual window available. However, if accessing through the multi tasking screen is your default behavior, it makes no difference which method you use to enable apps.

I just hated having a cluttered list on the G3 and preferred the same on my G4.
