Multisim In G1?

Anybody used a multisim in a net-locked or unlocked G1? I put mine in and for the first time since I got it years ago and cloned all MY LEGAL sims to it It didn't run the stk program to switch numbers, I mean every gsm phone should be able to run these little "apps" on the sim I think its called stk (hence the name of the app)

I wonder if it doesn't work because it isn't just GSM but CDMA too
