[Music] DSP Manager for stock rom's working

Hello,

I found the dspmanager.apk from cyanogenmod and installed it on stock 2.3.5 rom with cf-root. And it worked!

Install:
What do you need:

• CWM 4 or higher
• DSPManager_2.3.x.zip (File is attached to this tread)

1. Copy the file to your sd card

2. Flash it with CWM

2. Copy the file to: /system/app

3. Set the permissions to RW-R-R

4. Then install the package by clicking on it

5. And its working (By me)

If there are problems I wanna know it

hi dude. you still need lib from cm7 to make it work better. here I attach flashable if didn't work. use root explorer to extract the zip and put DSPManager.apk to /system/app and put all files in folder /lib/soundfx to system/lib/soundfx (remove all *.so in folder system/lib/soundfx except three *.so from this attach) and changes the permission.

MAKE BACKUP FIRST...!

did you set the permission of files in lib/soundfx? and DSPManager?

edit : don't forget to mount /system first when flashing it using CWM recovery. I've been tested on my SGA and it's work.
edit2 : if you are using odexed ROM you can try this and report back if still don't work.

How does the dsp manager helps?
Would it let me control music forward and rewind when the screen is locked by usin volume keys?

just an ask to understand

before i set permissioni for DSPManager in SYSTEM/APP to r/w - r - r
then at the end of flow, after delete and add so files, you wrote:
change the permission.
again? about what? how?

DSP on china tablet

i have to install it on a china tablet (with weak audio) android 2.3 rooted by gingerbreak
i tried to install it normally.
it does something but not so much
so i'll try installation adding libs
then i need to know the end of flow:
after delete and add so files how do i change the permission?
about what??
soundfx? dspmanager again?
