This thread is for share to you a great option of 5.1.1 in an N5 ported Rom, im not dev or contribute in anything i just been looking for a rom option to our N900V, i been Reading and searching on Note 3 forums and found this one that seems to be great, honetly it is.

Requirements :

• Last OF1 Bootloader OF1 (alredy unlocked) and Modem alredy flashed on device (since i was alredy running Jasmine 6.1 i alredy have this so i unlock OF1 bootloader)
• I Flashed with Trwp Twrp.2.8.70-hltevzw-4.4. and also test with 3.0.2-0 and works

• Advanced Signal Status (to set network in my case i didnt need it at start since im runinig on GSM/LTE network on Mexico , Telcel, but @audit2 tested the rom and didnt get sms work, so i start looking some way to set verizon smsc working, i try acces to hidden menú from service mode, but no code working so i end messing my net settings, i download Advanced Signal Status from Google play store and grant me acces to hidden menú to get al conectivity option in menú and manually set SMSC) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cc.signalinfo&hl=es_419
For VZW SMSC type manually “+316540951000” (incluide qoutes)

Install:
Gather all files in your SD card
Once we have our lastest unlocked bootloader and modem we flash TWRP hltevzw-4.4. (use 2.8.7-0 or 3.0.2-0 i just test those two) use odin or flashify what you preffer.
We need all our files alredy in our sd card, i use an external, since i do a Full Wipe + internal memory to perform a cleanest flash.
Do Full wipe (format Data, System, cache and Dalvik) if you are using internal sd card , dont format your internal memory.
Now we proced to Flash MoL Team xda V9 Rom, once there chose clean flash, select device, i keep 9005/ N900w8 hit next and about csc you will found a lot , XXV vietnnam is the default option chose the closest to your needs or an open one.
Once install finish dont tab the rebot option, just press finish and return to recovery
Now we will flash our Kernel and flash Super Su too, now we clear cache and dalvik. And reboot to system.
It will take around 10 to 20 minutes to load and setup wizard will show.
I read on dev thread an instruction to no tick the diagnose data option at the begining since cause some network issues.
Facts and Fixes from MoL Team:
1. don't update calculator app, it doesn't add anything new anyway.. it's missing a piece or different size because it's not multi DPI.

2. There are no Wifi, Bluetooth and any connectivity issues, just MAKE SURE you are using the latest BASEBAND and Bootloader for your device.

3. Sound Echo and too loud sounds can be fixed by turning off Beats and Dolby in Audio Control.. use only 1 and fine tune it.

4. No notifications for a certain app?
go to smart manager -RAM -Autostart.. make sure you disable optimation for that app

5. If you have Lagging? flash the fix in OP or use a different kernel. Like Idle kernel or Civz kernel.

yes you can configure that with Advanced signal Status app from play store, Once there, hit additional info/ device info there get your carriers best network settings and set SMSM manually or hit refresh with this you shuld not have any trouble.

Thank you for the detailed help! I'm still working on it, but still no luck with texts, on any of the MM roms. In the Advanced Signal app I can't get the update to SMSM line to stick. Any ideas?

It's too strange once in there you can write your SMSC Verizon is "+316540951000" try with and without qoutes also there's pdu format 0791135604590100 once the number is write down hit update, also try hit refresh first too.

Tell me which CDMA network option are you using; also what about your APN do you get the settings or can you manually load it?
Do you test with another sim card from verizon or different carriers?

That's it mate the trouble is you need to activate your phone in Verizon Network to gain access to messaging and data; do you remember an app named activation agent in Stock and Jasmine rom; well that app make the function to grant you access that services;

What to do; simple register your phone on Verizon Web I find this for you
You can activate your phone through the Verizon Web Site.

This is the recommended method to use if you have internet available. There is never a fee to switch your service to your new phone over Verizon's web site. Registration is necessary if you have not made an account yet.

1. First visit the VerizonWireless.com home page. Hover over the "My Verizon" tab and select "Activate or Switch Device"

2. After logging in, select the phone currentyou would like to switch from. (Your phone)

3. Verizon will ask you to back up your contacts. There will be one of two possible outcomes.
A. If your phone is an iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Windows, or Palm, Verizon will have instructions on how to back-up your contacts.
B. If it is not one of the types listed above, Verizon will have a program called "Backup Assistant".
After backing up your contacts click "Next"

• There are two possible outcomes for lost or stolen. Verizon will instruct you to call their Customer Service line. If this is a phone from Just Cellular Store, please contact us immediately.

I got it working without using the website. Calls, Data, and SMS all work. I had to do some build.prop edits, along with selecting Sprint and the XAS region code during installation to get it to work on a Verizon SIM. For the time being, I've only got two problems with it.

1. Network Mode does not stick. Want it to stay set to CDMA, LTE, GSM Auto (PRL) and it won't stick after a reboot.
2. Multimedia Messaging (MMS) does not work.

About mms check in apn settings to see if they are set, try set apn server to data and mms about the network I don't know if could be something in spring csc settings that load everytime you reboot.

How you install like 9005 or sprint? What about your APN settings are they up? Did you try manually set them? I insist that solution is register your phone on Verizon Web since our phones now emule a SM-A710Y network unlocked so for Verizon its a different one that is set in their net to your sim.

.my phone is already registered with Verizon before I flashed this rom..not sure what you mean thanks for the help

My calls and text are working fine no data really like this port help on Verizon network I edited apns-conf.xml and just added Verizon settings to Sprint. I tried even to comment Sprint settings out and still no data thanks
