The absolute first app I install is Pocket Casts. Then I'll bother with the other stuff. I tend to carry two phones so games will stay on the S6 Edge, but the G4 is becoming my camera phone, so Snapseed was the second app.

The notification LED. It works without root. I disabled the normal LED notifications for calls but left the downloaded apps switch on and use LightFlow for my custom LED stuff.

Tried Camera FV-5 but is there a way to hide the menubar?
It still in the picture frame very strange and annoying.

In the final picture you don't have the frame. OnScreen is, well, not hideable. Actually I still use the stock camera app until Camera FV-5 has all necessary options included to unleash the full power of the G4.

I tried installing the ad blocker browser, looked really nice and clean but I missed the integration on chrome and the saving of whole webpages in the stock browser. I did uninstall it and now my Google news app shows only the one story per subject. I tried installing the news app and reinstalling, reboot, clear cache, smart clean...no luck. Any ideas?

Edit: the next morning all seemed to be back to normal...not sure if it was a slight hiccup or a setting I had changed...however after installing the ad blocker again, and resetting defaults....back to enjoying the news

I stream a lot of music and have the phone in my pocket. I was used to changing the track by holding volume key on my OnePlus. The G4 didn't allow this, so I found an app that works with Google Music player.

It's double tap instead of long press. I guess we'll have to wait for root for long press. The only issue is the first tap raises the volume, but I can deal with that.

Wow, I didn't know something like this existed, I'm always listening to music on my phone with my headphones, thank you!!!

Is Camera FV-5 worth it? The stock app seems to have all the manual controls you would need. Though not being able to save RAW files in all modes is very annoying, but I'm sticking with manual mode anyway. Does FV-5 at much more functionality and take advantage of all the cameras functionality?
