MX Player - Local Network via SMB

Here are the.. confirmed working.. configuration for the SMB network access for MX Player

Name : Anything
Server : smb://HostName (example : smb://mypcname)
Path : Movie (Only the name of shared folder name)

Uncheck Anonymously

Domain : nothing/empty

Name : Your-PC-User-Account-Name
Password : The-Password

Didn't work mate. Not the format you have given or the other million formats I tried. Always ended up with "Failed to resolve the host"

@MXPlayer Also the instructions to Report an Issue from the official link is outdated. The app no longer has an option for "Bug Report".

same issue here. X-Plore connects to samba-server without any problem, MX-Player always gives connection error:
"A security error occurred while connecting to the host. Please make sure that Username and Password are valid and try again."

Syntax I tried:
Server: smb://192.168.0.106
Shared path: myfolder
+ Connect anonymously

X-Plore works with exact same setup (with smbv2 turned off).
