My 3rd Root & guide for the ultra-noob [WP7/ Android]

When install Maglder it wipe everything including WM6. Any possiblity to flashback WM6 using maglder combine with WP7 in NAND, then Android in SD card ???

AFAIK these are the combinations
-WM nand + Andy SD
-WP nand + Andy SD
- Andy nand + Andy SD

so far WM/ WP cannot run in SD

hi all,

i do everytihn step by step but while i were flashing the radio it stuck on %96 and after then i try to do recovery but now phone doesnt open....

what do i have to do now??

pls help =(

Edit : i cant reach to bootlaoder menu or open it, no move on the phone

hi kufut, please give more info about your HD2, it is the standard version or the Tmous with the A&T name or other name on it?

BTW which radio did you use?

Dwi bootloader not working on windows 8

Excellent guide ! helped me install android on nand and sd and also wp7. Big thanks. but i have a slight issue now, i recently updated to windows 8 and the dwi bootloader that comes along with the windows phone rom, wont execute it gives me some usb init error(the phones properly connected) and tried this with a rom i did flash my phone with previously so no questions abt the rom's working, please help me out here.

try to change the HSPL/ SPL to other version then go back to DFT hspl & then re-do everything from the top

Hey, ihave just installed android on my htc hd2(non- t-mobile version) by going through your guide..Thanks a lot u have been very helpful.I got my rom from here(http://nexushd2android.tytung.com/nexushd2-ics-cm9/v2-7-hwa) and did exactly what it was suggested in your walkthrough for android installation..Every thing is working well except my phone is not accepting my sd card(8gigs). i have tried repartitioning it from the minipartition tool for fat32 but it did not work..although my card is fine as i have i tested it by putting it into my another phine which is a nokia e-5.. anybody help me out plz!!!

can't get back to CWM

Probably a stupid question, but after I flash an android NAND ROM how do I get back to CWM to change ROMs? Choosing reboot to recovery or boot loader just reboots the phone. I see the boot loader screen, but not sure how to interrupt it and keep it from booting the android ROM.

but the problem is now when i open camera it is telling that SD card is not there.

to use camera please insert SD Card.

hd2 android rom installation

Hey there!! I installed android rom by following ur guide to root the htc hd2 few days back..and got the rom from the links provided in thread..it installed perfectly and worked for two three days. then afterwords, it started showing errors starting with sd card not acceptable, sim card not acceptable, and the suddenly it stopped taking the touch gestures.. it's cuurrrently installed but the touch feature is not working anywhere on the fone's screen, but the keys are working..plz help!!

here is a video of my problem.

Edit: after do a task29 my phone still in the problem and not show the empty shell whith the HTC logo on screen.

Other symtoms.
- When i plug my phone via usb to the computer its turn on automatically and tuck on bootloader.

- If the phone are power on i cant turn off... not if i press the power bottom, so if i want to turn off the phone i need to take off the battery.

I've had the same problem after flashing spl 3.03. I went on tmobile website and downloaded "T-Mobile_HD2_MR_Software_3.14.531.1.exe" - do a search. as long as you can get your hd2 in the flashing mode and usb this file will flash it back to the original wm6.5 state. good luck.
